NeoLemmix Main / Re: New NeoLemmix Website
« on: September 23, 2017, 08:09:43 PM »
Warning!

The NeoLemmix website will be unavailable for the next hour or two. You can still access it, but there will be broken links and such as I go through the process of updating everything and making sure everything works.

I will post when everything is up and running again.

:)

Thanks Flopsy for spotting that error. I'll go ahead and fix that.

I also want to let everybody know that there will be a delay in updating the website to have all the new applications Nepster published today due to personal reasons. It shouldn't be too long and I should have it ready today, but just wanted to let everyone know just in case. I will, of course, post again when I am certain everything has been updated correctly. Thank you.

Glad to hear your enjoying the levels and that you're almost done with Headache! The difficulty curve is still a little wacky so if you don't mind, and if you feel like it, can you tell me which Rank 2 levels are giving you trouble? There are some Rank 2 levels that have mixed opinions on how difficult they are and I would like your input on that.
The levels in question are... (click to show/hide)

Levels for v10 or older / Re: [NeoLemmix] SEB Lems v1.81 (175 levels)

Finally started playing through the first two ranks (stopped at Bittersweet 18). Excellent levels! I have attached my replies. I don't think I backrouted any of them, but I think I might have done some levels unintentionally.

Congratulations Flopsy on completely your pack , and your Sonic inspired graphic sets are amazing by the way.

I have just downloaded v1.81 and I'm hyped to try it out when I finish working today, but so far I just want to say that I love the rank images. Really creative :).

Finally got around to fixing and trimming all of the custom music. The link in the original post has been updated. It should now be more enjoyable and pleasant to the ear, especially on the harder levels ;P

Once again, thanks nin10doadict for all your help! :)

Okay, so I was able to do a quick one right now. I attached my fixed .ogg file used in the final level.

Thank you nin10doadict for taking the time to write all of this useful information for me  I'm going to work on this today if I have some time, and I'll make you proud. I guess I can make good levels, but sound editing is something I need a lot more practice on :-[.

NeoLemmix Levels / Re: Lemmings & Lix Fangame List
« on: September 19, 2017, 07:48:41 PM »
joshescue18, to be honest all these level packs (at least the ones I have played so far) are really good as everybody brings their own personality and style to the table in their levels. I suggest just going through the list, looking at each pack's official or development topics, reading through the thread, and see if the pack catches your eye. I know for me the first ones I played were Lemmings Plus I and GeoffLems, as both start off easy but get hard at the end. Some packs try to stay simple for beginners or players that don't want to be overly challenged, and some packs prefer to challenge the player right out of the gate. Hope this helped :)

I'm not against taking out Tension Sheet, Good Idea... personally I was never a fan of that level.

Yes, I think we should keep The Run Around where it is. After careful consideration, I think it's just the best place for it.

I think the reason why people don't want Pop Yor Top as the Rank 2 opener is because the solution is easier to execute with instant bombers. I don't think it's a bad level at all, but it probably wouldn't have had a good enough impact as the opener as another level could. If It's Lemmingentry Watson is going to be level 2 then I say The Stack could be the opener as Nepster said. It would be a good "Wait... what?" moment for beginners (at least it was for me).
