Hi,

This is most likely not a bug but I wanted to make a quick thread about it just in case it was.

I have made some custom lemming sprites, but for some reason the recoloring that should happen to a lemming that is an athlete is not working. I have attached the scheme.nxmi file below. It's simply an inverse of the grayscale color scheme for now.

EDIT:

The custom sprites in question have the following color scheme:

Normal:
Hair: x808080
Shirt: x303030
Skin: Not changed

Athletes:
Hair: x303030
Shirt: x808080
Skin: Not changed

I've been working on some custom lemming sprites for fun. I'm planning on making some more and will update this thread accordingly, but anyone is welcome to contribute as well!



L2 Shadow Lemmings

L2 Highland Lemmings



We have the tileset, now you have the highlanders themselves for NeoLemmix!



How To Use

1) Extract the "lemmings" folder

2) Place this extracted folder in the appropriate style folder located in the main "styles" folder (but really you can use them in any graphic set you want)

3) In the "theme.nxtm" file of your chosen style change "LEMMINGS default" on the top to "LEMMINGS <style that contains the lemmings folder>" For example: if I download "l2-shadow-lemmings" and put them into "l2_shadow" style folder then my theme.nxtm file will say: "LEMMINGS l2_shadow"

4) Enjoy!

Here are three more levels:

Haunted Botanical Garden: The Chaos Beauty (some minimal terrain changes and removed hidden traps)
No Justice For The Hero: Chain Gang (has two intended solutions)
Get A Little Extra Help: Little Helpers (an easy level for a change :P)

EDIT:

Chain Gang: Was not happy with one of the solutions so I took it out.

These levels look amazing :thumbsup:! I love the use of the green bricks in "You need to have a good strato-gy" and the detail in the buildings in "Snowdin Town" (also love how you included the Grillby's building by the way ;)).

Here is my solution to Casino is the Night. This time I'm sure I didn't backroute it, but if I did... :XD:

The choice of what is steel is fine with me. I think the only thing that looks like it could be steel was the little circles with a star in it. I think it's because they look like they are part of the red triangles at the bottom, such as they are both bumpers and the same color. That was the only thing that really stood out to me.

Wasn't sure about a good talisman for the "The Metal Mines". A possible one was "solve with only 7 builders". I attached a replay of that solution below. It can probably go lower, but maybe this is a good starting point ???

I have played through the Marble Garden level (replay attached below), but I think I might have backrouted it :-[

Anyway I don't really have anything negative to say about this graphic set. It's visually beautiful and I wasn't caught off guard by anything. For example, I knew right away those faces were traps and the mud at the bottom was water. I guess if I had to say something it's not to include spikes on the masher trap as I thought it was the spike fire object for just a moment. Honestly, this is just nitpicking and not a big deal.

So yeah, another excellent set. Good job so far :thumbsup:

Sure, I'll start a separate thread for it so others can jump in (although I didn't really have any major problems with the game and editor so far).
