I'm not sure because I haven't really tried most of them, but Cascade 100% felt too easy to be gold to me. I figured it out in about 5 minutes. Maybe I was subconsciously drawing up a memory of the 100% solution that I had seen long ago, but that was over 10 years ago so I doubt it.
Either that or I'm actually getting better at the game but I kinda doubt that too. :P

Saw no easy fix for that except to redesign that ending area.

Nudged the hazard over in Power Core because you could still sneak around it. I really hope this finishes the job. I'm starting to develop a vendetta toward my own level.

I've been overhauling some levels to fix more backroutes and redesign some of the weaker levels. "Sewer Rodents" for example will still be solvable without swimmers but harder to do so, and "Sewage Shaft" will be greatly shortened to cut out the pointless fluff. The levels will also be getting reordered again; levels like "Pickup sticks" will be moving closer to the end of their ranks.

I actually have noticed this behavior myself and thought it strange, but dismissed it as some strange quirk of the engine. It generally doesn't get in the way of a puzzle anyway.

Finally nailed down one of the solutions. Icho placed a stoner slightly differently than I did but still had to use everything so I'm satisfied. But I really thought that adding another flamethrower would stop that one backroute. Apparently on the first frame that a Lemming walks off of a ledge he cannot be burned by fire. Not sure why that is, but so it goes...
V6 takes a different approach to seal this backroute. Hopefully this one works.

I'm up to ROFL 20 at this point and haven't started attempting it. I didn't actually find 'Doubling Down' all that tough, though I may have cheesed it a bit with some bomber shenanigans due to the jagged terrain up top. That video will be part 7 when I get there, but...
Encoding my videos is difficult because my computer is old and worn and my encoder kinda sucks. Encoding my 15 minute videos takes about 45 minutes if I don't have any other programs open (longer if I do), and even still there's about a 50% chance the output file just won't exist or the computer will crash from the exertion. :lix-ashamed:
I do have up through part 6 encoded and ready to post though, but I'm limiting it to one video per day.

I'm pretty sure the annotation feature has been removed from YouTube entirely, so you can't add or edit them anymore. So if you want text commentary on your video, you'll have to add it some other way.

I'm going to start calling Icho "Old Reliable" because he's really good at breaking things. By all means, keep it up! ;)
Power Core V5 is ready. I plan to keep tweaking this until it is backroute free.

Updated Power Core again. At least V3 was closer to having the right side solution work entirely as planned... V4 should shut down the trick that's backrouting the left side route and hopefully enforce the right side solution too.

I've kept working at it and I've cleared the first rank and the first 4 levels of ROFL as well. Despite how it may sound, I'm enjoying the difficulty of it so far. Few of the levels have been cakewalks, but none have been so hard that it was frustrating. :thumbsup:
I'm pretty sure I've found some backroutes here and there though. Some new backroutes appear to have cropped up in Casualemmings too so I'll have to make another pass at looking through it. Hyper rank is bound to have some backroutes still hanging around too that people will likely dig up...

This pack is way harder than Paralems, that's for sure. :o I'm probably going to need help at some point or I'm gonna get stuck and have to give up the LP. For now though I'm still ok...

I was wondering how the change to the new RR setup would affect release rates in replays. Unless the RR in old replays was converted to fit the new formula, then levels requiring specific RR at specific times would all have their replays break.
Then again, this problem seems to be that the replay just refuses to touch the RR at all, which is even worse.
