What is lemmain? Is there a way to edit MAIN.DAT files? Even for DOS lemmings too? ??? (lol)

Lemmings Main / So I made this special level awhile back....

Hello all, I have a special level I made for fun awhile back, but I don't dare upload it to the level pack database because it uses graphics from the Disney film "Dumbo"; It's titled Pink Elephants On Parade, and it's meant for custlemm vgaspec style.

I currently only have the graphics file finished, no .lvl yet. But if anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll attach the vgaspec file! ;)


EDIT: I am back home now, so I've attached it here. Note that the graphics are still maximum of 7 colors+ background....But they look rather superior (somewhat) because of the tool I used to convert the image. If you decide to take a look, please let me know what you think of it! (and if it's ok uploading to the public level pack archive with a new .lvl file)

Heh, that's cool! I'm not sure if it would make me weird, but now when I play orig. Lemmings, I can't help but turn on rap in another window/source (other varieties too, but mostly rap) while simply enabling only the SFX in-game. I know what you mean! But would anyone else enjoy playing Lix while listening to hardcore styles of music?

Yes, Congrats Simon! Nice to see you've made it! :lix-smile:  And btw fyi back in 2012 I did lie to you about 'me driving to a library'. I was still at a library, but at that time I was unemployed and didn't have a car. It was a two-hour walk though!......... I saw you guys (Insane Steve, geoo and you +others) talking about me on IRC right after I was banned on the old forum. :lix-suspicious:  But no, I live on my own now and pay for my own Internet Service.

Anyway, your Lix project you made -- I should check it out sometime and see what it is like (like, finally right?!) I've heard it's really fun compared to original lemmings, let alone the ugly-lame original DOS-port.

Anyway, I probably won't be around much this month; I'm pretty busy myself now (I've only gotten 31 posts on the other forums I'm members with). Hello,

I am Braden12, and I was banned in early 2013 for calling another member a bad name. I also ban-dodged many times within three months after that.

I would like to know though if I could come back now that I've reached the age of accountability (18+), and more importantly that I'm a member now of multiple other forums where I've learned from this mistake and have been a decent and kind, non-demanding/abusive member for last 2-3 years.

Also, congrats Uncle Roundy / roundthewheel=rtw (AKA ccexplore) on your new position as Administrator of this forum! ;P
