Good job!

It's cool to see people still kicking this ancient compilation pack around.

I like the Windows 95 soundtrack. I even posted it here somewhere, converted from midi to ogg.

Sorry about this. I must have forgot to update the pack. Here's the correct music file from my game.

I'm curious if anyone has beaten the last level. I wanted to rely on some mechanics specific to SLX to beat it.

SuperLemmix / [SLX] Lemmings - To the Rescue! (8 Levels) [V2 UPDATE]
« on: November 29, 2023, 02:07:46 AM »

16 Levels made to show off my new "rescue" idea - each level features a number of neutral lemmings which must be rescued by the regular lemmings.

This pack also shows off the new features of SLX including the Ballooner and Ladderer skills, as well as making use of many of those little differences SLX has too.

Version 2 features a number of revisions by WillLem, including a group of easier versions of the levels. This version also fixes the levels and ensures that all lemmings which are meant to be neutrals are now neutrals.

To install, unzip the attached folder to your SuperLemmix directory.

This sounds like your computer doesn't have a compatible graphics card. I haven't seen this error myself.

I personally like it as it is. It's quick enough that it looks convincing.

You'll get used to those weird controls soon. It's not a bad game really.

25
Or, you could ONLY show the mini-map when paused. This should certainly fix all the issues. Have the map either freeze or completely disappear when unpaused.

26
What about changing the mini-map so it's not animated at all. Just a map that highlights your location. No dots to represent all the lemmings movements?

I personally almost never use the feature of the moving dots. Maybe some do. Or, just show the complete map image and that's it. For reference.

I usually use the minimap to move the focus-square to where I want to be quickly. And that's about it.

Firstly, thanks so much for dedicating time to helping preserve Lemmings Revolution. Was talking to my sister about this game we would play as kids and has gotten me itching to play it again (without reviving the childhood computer I have kept in my garage). I'm not able to get it to run on Windows 11. Any tips?

You should be able to download this version, unzip it to a permanent location, run the installer and play it just fine on windows 11.

It's been a while since I shared anything here. And there's been alot of mention of Lemmings 2.

So, I'm sharing a cursor set for Neolemmix/Superlemmix that is in the style and colors as the Lemm2 cursors.

Just backup your original set and put these in their place. (gfx\cursor-hr)

I like it the way it is.
I been looking at the pics and trying think of a way to improve on it, but I got nothing.

I would never have been surprised to see this happen. It look natural. To me.

Has there been any recent thoughts on this feature?
