For Nepsters level: I looked over geoo's shoulder as he solved it (I also got his replay here), but it's his solution so it would be wrong from me to also post it.

It seems that nobody encountered errors or bugs in the last days, so it's (also) up on the NeoLemmix website as an addon now!

Great post :XD:

The Mexican god Ichot'olot still is astonished how hard it is to get those Lix players to focus on actually solving the level instead of raging about the controls!
They ran even in danger of awakening and angering the god next by (also known as my roommate). It was a hard time trying to control their rage!

Little update 1.1 which fixes some lighting issues in the biolab tileset. It just changes around a few pixel colors so everything will stay the same apart that the coloring is improved on the diagonal slides.

Thanks to geoo and Simon for this one :thumbsup: (and also credit to Mindless for sending the L3 styles ;))

To access the tilesets with the NeoLemmix editor simply copy all the .dat files into the styles/NeoLemmix folder of the editor and add the sets manually in the styles.ini in the same folder like:

This is not strictly nessecary. It's just if you want to explicitly specify the names (otherwise the filenames are used) and/or ordering of the sets.

Ok updated the description ;)  Used to to this automaticaly from Lemmix.

I've finally got all L2 (except Classic because Pillar already exists) and the L3 "biolab" tileset completely converted to NeoLemmix. A big part of the animations had to be redrawn and things like getting together all the tiles and the custom biolab background was a big pile of work, but it's finally done!
A notice that the Egyptian, Shadow and Sports tilesets are originally converted from PacGuy765's Lemmini version.

L2+L3 Tileset Pack (V 2.1): L2 + L3 Pack V 2.1

Lemmini Conversions (V 1.4): Lemmini Conversions V 1.4

To access the tilesets with the NeoLemmix editor simply copy all the .dat files into the styles/NeoLemmix folder of the editor and to get them with the name of your choice and in the right order add the sets manually in the styles.ini in the same folder like:
.
.
.
[polar]
Name=Polar
Order=45

[circus]
Name=Circus
Order=46

[l3_biolab]
Name=Biolab
Order=47
.
.
.

For EXAMPLE

And now time for some pictures (polar and circus missing) :laugh:

L3 biolab (all grey things are steel here):

L2 medival:

L2 cavelem:

L2 highland:

L2 outdoor:

L2 space:

And with lots of Clams: L2 Beach:

Please report bugs or problems so I can try to patch them out!

Enjoy making levels with them, you might see them in one of my futute projects.......;)

IchoTolot's level has a custom music file to accompany it. This should be placed in the same folder as CustLemmixNeo.exe.

I think it just must be in the same folder as the level itself, cause I can hear it with my CustNeoLemmix player and the music is only in the folder with the level.

Ok solved the NeoLemmix part and tried out the lix levels, but I need a break for today now.
Attached the solutions for the NeoLemmix levels and my best try (saving 33 Lix instead of the 34 required) for geoo's level. (Gotta get that last pesky Lix hopefully tomorrow)

NeoLemmix Levels / Re: NeoLemmix release of Lemmings Reunion
« on: August 08, 2015, 03:24:16 PM »
So, at last, I've completed the pack! (Video of successful attempt at Nightmare 30 is currently uploading)

This is definitely a great pack. While I wouldn't recommend it to beginners for obvious reasons, I'd definitely highly recommend it to experienced players. Well done on a great pack, IchoTolot! :D
Congratulation and ty!
You also helped to find a lot of backroutes!
I will prepare the patch probably after Akseli has it also finished and I've done some other Lemmings related stuf ~ in the next week

We also solved the last level I had not beaten yet in Akseli's Lemmix level pack ("Why do you all look the same?"). Haven't tried it in the last week due to my tileset making progress and we thought it would be a blast solving together.
And after a while we finally beat it!
It was not that far away from one of my ealier attemts, but quite some adjustments had to be made together with adding a few little tricks here and there + getting the timing right.
I will not spoil the solution for you, you have to solve it for yourselves!
After the success we had to remove the ? in the level title in Lemmix to be able to save a proper replay for Akseli and today he gave me the answer that the solution is indeed the intended one! :laugh:

Now the whole pack is beaten even though it had some nasty L1 tricks and glitches in it, some of them I were not aware of.

But one point needs to be mentioned about Core player with level pack files:

Let's not take the route: Change the active pack (out of plenty) in the options menu and have only one at a time active.

A Lemmini-type pack or even level browser would be the best solution here for this option. Packs are automatically recognized out of the folder and displayed in the menu browser.

NeoLemmix Main / Re: Graphic set editor (V1.01 Update released)
« on: July 31, 2015, 05:54:08 PM »
One suggestion:

Would it be possible for an additional general tileset option (as the particle/map/builder colors) to support a backgroud in a different color as black?

So black would be the standard option, but you could choose another (single) background color mixed together via parameters like the particles/bridges/map colors.
Some of the tilsets require a different background (Shadow for example) to display the tiles clearly.
Now there is the alternaive in creating a giant single colored png in the required color, but this has some drawbacks:
- Filesize of the tilesets drastically increased
- Actual level loading times a lot slower especially on slower PC's (Simon ;))
- Giant objects in the editor
- Actually 2 background tiles needed (horizontal + vertical levels     one that covers both is too big to handle)

I also have some ready to go tilesets which would look a lot nicer with different backgrounds (not needed because of black tiles/objects; only visual optimasation), but I decided not to implement them due to keeping filesize and loading time as low as possible.

NeoLemmix Levels / Re: NeoLemmix release of Lemmings Reunion
« on: July 29, 2015, 02:46:55 PM »
Shouldn't be much longer until I'm through it - only 11 levels to go!

We will see :8():

I know what's still comming and some of the levels will have a great "getting stucked" potential (if backroutes won't break them of course).

NeoLemmix Levels / Re: NeoLemmix release of Lemmings Reunion

This should be the last update for the custom tilesets:

- NeoLemmix features added   check
- Annoying tiles fixed                check
and now:
- autosteel function that works   check

It sould be avialable soon.

And for the pack itself:
I will prepare the next update when either namida and/or Akseli have finished the pack or are stucked really hard, so that I can fix a huge chunk rather than a few levels.

The patch will include:
- backroute fixes (of course) mostly focused on rank 4 second half and rank 5 (serious work needed here :P)
- custom background for Shadow levels to make the levels look a lot clearer

Levels for v10 or older / Re: Revenge of the Lemmings 2.0!
« on: July 28, 2015, 02:05:04 PM »
Are there replays anywhere ? Hate skipping levels...when I get stuck, I see it as an opportunity to learn something.
I found replays for the old pack, sometimes they are of help. But not all leves are there, and some have changed too much.
When level packs are released, solutions should also be supplied, imho....

Well I completed the Lemmini version of the pack and uploaded my solutions on my YT channel, but quite a few levels have been changed or fixed so they will not help with all levels.
But maybe the videos can still help with some of them!
