Hi mobius

What about every lemmings tribe level, I know that might sound a bit crazy. 8)

I liked the whole idea of using different games background but making it into a lemmings level such as Sonic. (i.e) we could have Death egg themed levels. (It's probably already been done)

I'm going to heal (+1 = It's Hero Time)

Steel Works 8
The Boiler Room 10
It's Hero Time! 13
The Crossroads 8
Down, along, up. In that order 7
One way or another 8
Poles Apart 10
Last one out is a rotten egg! 11

Contests / Re: new Level design jam ideas!

Welldone to yourself Pieuw for winning the last contest.

I would like it to be the bubble tile set as that would make it interesting as well as being one of my favourite ones. One of my bubble levels actually looks not too bad to be honest, sort of puzzle type one.

I don't think I have any marble levels at all.

It's like a totally different game playing the two player in  single player levels, I wonder if it does work for the Amiga interesting but it was like one of those strange glitches in the game. If it happens I'll need to get a screenshot of it happening or if anyone else notices it post the screenshot here.

I've only saw it happen with (Wicked 11 Rocky Road)

One thing that happened to myself when I was playing the two player version on the oh no more lemmings, It was actually the single player levels that came up instead of the two player levels. The level was (Wicked Level 11 ROCKY ROAD) but it was the two player screen so it was like playing a single player level on the two player mode. (strange)

I like fangames as they are much larger than your standard level pack levels which is usually 10 levels.

Yes, the Original exits have taller triggers than those in ONML. That's a property of the exit objects rather than part of the 'mechanics', which is why it's not in the list above

That explains that one Clam Spammer, I was looking at the Specifically part and I never knew that there was a difference between the brick and the (rock, snow, bubble, xmas) I thought all the level sets on the oh no more would be the exact same, interesting you learn more each day.

There was only one bubble level in the two player mode and yes that was a hard one to get in as you had to be perfect with the build.

Levels for other engines / Re: Revenge of the Lemmings!

Hi everyone

This sounds like an interesting topic, I was wondering if I could contribute or is it too late.  Even though I don't have that many levels but with the ones I do have I could probably pick one of my favorites. I haven't tested my levels in anything apart from the Lemmini program.

I think there might be a difference in the trigger area, well the atari st one when my dad and I were playing the two player version once you dig under your opponents house in the original you can be slightly off with the building and the lemmings will go into the exit but  in Oh no you have to get it perfect as I remember my dad struggling when I dug under his house on the rocky level.

Hi everyone

I think it would be a good idea to make this thread a sticky one as I've noticed a lot of interesting information that level designers could use for future use.

This is totally unrelated but I thought I'll post this link to a prank they played on Richard Whitely on countdown back in the day.

This is a must watch as I found it quite funny.

Everyone was in on the prank apart from Richard Whitely who got pranked big time.

Levels for other engines / Re: Lemmix Level Pack Topic

Hi Jammer64 (Welcome to the forums as well)

Just noticed your levels up on the mindless website, look good.   I like that there are more people creating level packs that's cool.  I tend to like the occasional hero level such as Tim Foxy's levels such as (the swamp) level.  (Fangorn Forest)

My dad was the first person to notice the solution when I played the onml crazy level 2, I was so excited when I got that game at christmas and stuck it into the Atari straight away.

I agree with what Akseli was saying in relation to levels having more than one solution which makes it more interesting, I can totally understand editing levels to stop backroutes as in some cases the backroute could make the level a lot easier but nevertheless lemmings is all about having different solutions I feel.

I might try your levels one time Jammer.
