I think Simon should host.

Welldone to yourself Naoh for winning.

For the question that mentioned (Mention a song that contains a number in the title) I bet Minim was thinking about the lemmings level that made that reference to the Blondie song, (One way or Another)

I liked the reference in oh no more lemmings, the very first level in Havoc was tubular lemmings which referenced one of my favourite music of all time.

I remember doing spreadsheets back in college and it took me a long time how to figure out how to highlight certain cells that were not next to each other. I feel silly admitting that but eventually I found out as you had to hold down the (Ctrl button) to highlight other cells.

Non-Lemmings Gaming / PC Dos game called (Clone)
« on: April 04, 2015, 12:06:52 AM »
Hi everyone

I thought I would share a game I was playing which has a big puzzle element attached to it. The game is called Clone, a little interesting game I would say. I've been playing this in the evenings getting past more levels but there has been a few that have stumped myself.

Here's a picture of the game

http://www.dosgames.com/ss.php?filename=clone.gif

Has anyone else tried this game before? I think this game is well thought out as you have to get the blue guys to the exit, just as simple as that but some levels you have to think before you make any moves.

A cool game.

Lemmings Main / Re: In what order should I play the Lemmings 2 levels?

One of the skills I found hard getting used to was the bow and arrow.

I remember having trouble with the save game feature as everytime I went to save the game it was not allowing me to but a way by this is if you are using the Atari St emulator you can use the (save memory snapshot) feature which is very helpful.

You must be onto (The prison level) in the original lemmings.

Hi 607

That must be the (Lemmings 2 the tribes), This is one that you can play in any order as it allows you to switch about between which of tribes to play. The beach lems tend to be a good one to start with but in all honesty I wouldn't say there is an order as such. (What ever tribe you feel like trying out first go for that one and if you get stuck try another tribe in the meantime.

Lemmings Main / Re: [QUESTION] Can you play 2 player Lemmings on pc?
« on: March 27, 2015, 01:19:25 PM »
Hi 607

You can get it working on the atari st emulator and the Amiga one I think, although I don't know how you would go about it with the Amiga one. My dads mate has installed an Amiga emulator as he loves his old games as he was an amiga guy back in the days.

If I was yourself I would go for the Atari st one as this is the one I use and one of my favorite emulators has to be Steam St. Steam ST allows you to play the mutiplayer version of lemmings as the original one has 20 two player levels and the oh no more one has 10 levels all of which are very fun. I think I still have some Atari st floppy disks lying around but some of the games on them don't work anymore.

(I'm a frog now)

Guy Perfect seemed very mature in his replies, surely he can't be 9.  ??? I think that might be a joke age, oh well sometimes people might prefer not to reveal their age.

I can think of others but not too sure if they would want to revel their age, I know there were some newer members who are younger than GigaLem but they have only posted a few times on the forum.

(Interesting stuff there Simon)

At first a long time ago I was thinking that there would of been a lot of 50 year olds but how wrong was I.   :) Back in 2005 I would of only have been 16, all thanks to my dad who got me into lemmings in the first place.

I beat my dad 7-3 today playing the oh no more lemmings two player, a lot of good battles.

I'm glad that a lot of us younger people are into lemmings and we can pass the awesomeness onto the next generation.

You must be older than myself Simon.

Tech & Research / Re: about builders...
« on: January 20, 2015, 09:29:42 PM »
In the atari st version, the lemming can keep building through until the gap is sealed without turning around if his head is already touching the bridge. In the end once he completes the bridge there's a good chance he will turn around.

He will turn around he you start building him and his head is not touching but once it does he will turn around.

Sorry I hope that makes sense.

I'll give this a go and see if I can get in a good position (lol)

Thanks Akseli, for getting in contact.  :)  that's actually not a bad point about some of the questions being a bit complicated. Okay I'm going to keep quiet for now as I don't want to give out any clue to what my answers are going to be.
