Lemmings Main / Re: Lemmings Revolution Question
« on: November 03, 2021, 12:08:33 AM »
Thanks Simon (That explains a lot) That's actually really good news for me as I only have those two levels left to solve.

Yes, that information makes sense as that is the other level I've still to solve because of the fall distance or something like that. I've spent so long on those levels and trying to figure out the right solution, I had to be careful when looking up the levels as I didn't want to see the solution.

Guys, I think I have come across an impossible level. Could anyone confirm that this level is possible, the level I'm referring to is (Tanks a lot) I can't find a solution at all and was wondering if the level is possible. I've spent ages on this level and not getting any way at all. (lol)  The level feels broken. I'm kind of hoping it is broken.

Could anyone tell me whether it is possible without giving any spoilers.

Many thanks

Lemmings Main / Re: What lemmings games have you completed?

Looks like we have quite a lot of us playing lemmings revolution. It's a very hard one to complete but I'm sure we will get there. I think technically I'm really just one level away from completing the game. The lemmings games do contain some very hard levels, maybe for example the red lemming connection ones from paintball can cause a lot of trouble. Lemmings chronicles had a lot of levels where you had to think outside the box I feel. I think a lot solutions tend to be different from the designers solution, I remember with some of the lemmings chronicle ones, my solution was either easier or harder than the intended one.

As long as you enjoy playing the games, if there is a lemmings game you particular don't like or enjoy don't force yourself to play it.

Welldone to Namida and Simon for second place.

(That was sort of close with a lot of the answers) I can sort of see why the SuperLem is an unpopular skill as well, it can be a nightmare to get it just right. My brother loved the superlem skill but to be fair he's not really a lemmings fan as such but I've been trying to get him into the lemmings as they are great games. I thought people were going to go for Graham's number for the big number as that's my name, well my name is spelt Graeme. Googol is a good answer as well but only one went for it.  Funny enough that I actually wanted to be a police officer in the past but that wasn't to be.  I can understand the reasoning with the easter egg, chocolate egg scenario.

I think I remember InsaneSteve playing them on his youtube channel. Doesn't seem to be coming up on the search at the moment which is strange. I might have the wrong spelling.

I like the whole idea of remembering where the traps are like for example trying to complete the havoc level 1 but we all know there is a hidden trap but do you know what bit you have to build at. I liked that whole aspect, the whole trial and error and exploring where about the trap is.

I tend to think a lot different to people, if the level is good it is good regardless of whether it has a hidden trap, Havoc level 1 is a great example and a very enjoyable level I find. Sometimes if a route looks too easy think twice because it might have a hidden trap. Only thing I would encourage others to do is variety.

I remember fish the killer's levels which were actually probably not bad levels, mind you they didn't look the nicest but there's nothing wrong with having a bit of fun when making levels. They did give me a bit of a laugh when playing them. fun old days.

I love a good hero level, where one lemming does most of the work, those actually can be quite fun levels. I don't think we should put restrictions on what a level should be like or shouldn't be like. Every idea can be great if it is done well, yes a builderfest level as well, I know a lot will disagree. You could make a pack that just has builders only in it. Variety is the spice of life, if you do the same type of levels again and again, it could be off putting.

The old game rick dangerous  which is a great game, you had to remember where all the traps where, a lot of trial and error, the  same with tomb raider. I remember I got a huge fright in Lemmings paintball when I stepped on one of those green dots which I didn't see at first.

All type of levels are welcome in a grams88 world (lol)

I can't believe I only have two levels left to solve, mind you those two levels are hard. Once I do that that will be me completed lemmings revolution once and for all, a hard one to complete.

Thanks jkapp I'm glad I inspired you to get back into the lemmings revolution. It can be a hard one to get working, I found my one on a website and when I downloaded it you had to change the language from German to English. I've only got four levels left to complete and at the moment it looks like I might be stuck on them for a while. While I'm getting there slowly those levels look hard and pernickety if that's the right word to use.

I like your crab picture for your profile. I think there is something you can do to get the crab moving but it's probably like a glitch or something like that. Have you completed lemmings revolution yourself or are you going to master it once and for all?

Yes that save file works well, it just only has one level left uncompleted and that level is one of my four levels so that's all good.

I think that will work, thanks for getting it jkapp76

I technically only have five levels left to complete so that will be a good save if I can get it working.  The levels do get very tough indeed for anyone that is thinking about completing the lemmings revolution, it's worth it big time.

No worries at all Mobius, it's a right hard game and some of the levels are done quite well. There is a tiny chance I might have a save file located somewhere on the computer, I will have a look. Be careful if you are playing lemmings revolution, make a copy of the save file which is located in your lemmings revolution folder just in case you lose your save.

All it takes is one or two clicks and you can lose all your saves so make a copy each time you complete some of the levels.

Hi everyone

Is there any cheat codes or cheats that you can use to skip by any of the levels, I lost my saves and had to start from the beginning. Any help would be fantanstic.

Being able to do the things you want to do even though mental illness might seem like a barrier. Things like going to the shops and feeling comfortable, being out in public and not letting my Ocd dictate how I feel. I've actually crossed a lot of barriers in that regard. My main goal in life is to be happy, make others happy. I remember seeing people get stressed about the smallest of things and it isn't worth it at the end of the day. I'm not an ambitious person as such but I do have goals in mind I would like to accomplish.

We are keeping our eye on my gran, she's in the hospital at the moment getting better, she took a fall at home and couldn't get back up. She's very chatty, she is really wanting to get home soon, I'm sure she will. They are very strict at the hospital now, I don't think they are allowing visitors to see Gran due to the covid. We are showing her photos of how her home looks now to give her a little bit of a mental boost. She is 98 years old now, getting closer to 100.

Good thread Idea Kaywhyn and it will be interesting to see what other forum members say.

Lemmings Revolution, only five levels left except I accidentally deleted my saves ooppps. Hope there is a way to get it back. By the way, those five levels that are left to complete are going to be tough.
