"Take Us All Home"?

Take the obvious route.

I passed that. I'm at Ghostly Hall now. Tricky!

Passwords work well now. I reached Medi. Forgotten what it's called but I'm on the level which has 7 of each skill :)

I've found the fix. Here's the new download link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/315110364/LPDOSLemmix.zip

The codes are backwards compatible. Any code you got given by the old version will work in the new one, even if it was one of the ones that didn't work before.

cc: in LemDosStyles.pas, change "for Lev := 0 to 19 do" to "for Lev := 0 to 29 do".

(PS: Any modifications you make to that file, can you please send me the exact parts that are changed and the new code in a PM, because I've heavily modified that file for the Plus player. Thanks.)

Is there any other way I can download it but have to sign up and pay for being a premium user?

I got a problem with passwords not working. I store passwords when I take a break but when I open up the game again I keep getting 'Incorrect code' and I can believe that I am writing down the passwords correctly. I am somewhere on the second skill level between levels 25 and 30.

So it is Isteve10 next?

Thanks Dullstar for finding a backroute. I will investigate it later. Level 9 was supposed to be tricky. The Lemmings are to be getting eaten by the lizard sometime after they leave the trapdoor.

Level Design / When having less than 10 levels in your levelpak

I was just thinking, since I saw this in a few levelpaks and that it was excluded from others that it be important to patch up the unused levels with the 'Unused blank generic level' thing in your levelpak.

There are levelpaks on the File Archive that are all the genesis levels remade into DOS versions. People have even made these levels into their levelpaks.

If we went with my new rule suggestion:
Joe03 -> ISteve10 -> Dstar01 -> 2nd Lemplus pack

Those in bold I probably wouldn't accept , because (For Joemon) I have reviewed some of Joemon's levels in his third set. What about this fourth pack?

And (for namida) I would either do that pack straight after this level, or leave it out until all the other users have finished (As in, what about Clam Spammer and Yawg? Their levels haven't been reviewed in this thread).

L+ DOS demo: Level 10: No Salvation

Lemmings: 10
90% to be saved (9)
Time: 1 minute
Release rate: 99
Skills: 2 of each

Good: Finally, a really difficult 10th level in this pack which matches the learning curve :P, Forces a lot of incorrect solutions by the player.

Bad: A few things I don't like the look of: the broken pillars, the trap placement and more broken planks and stairs.

You can do my 4th pack then :)

I just checked the whole thread.
These people have had reviews done in this thread before (in this order):
minimac
Fernito
namida

If we went with my new rule suggestion:
Joe03 -> ISteve10 -> Dstar01 -> 2nd Lemplus pack

I accept this :)

I thought we had Joe3, then ISteve10, then open floor planned after L+ Demo?

Yes we did. After this Joe03, Isteve10, 2nd Lemplus pack and then Dullstar's levelpak :)

If yours is not complete after this pack is finished I would like joe03 reviewing :). We could then review your recent pack :)

Level Design / Re: New versions of my levels...?
« on: October 22, 2009, 07:43:03 PM »
By "too hard" I generally mean levels where the solution isn't fun to attempt, where's there's too much fast-clicking and everything is too fiddly and haphazard... Does that make sense?  :)

Anyway, you've convinced me to give the re-makes a go. It won't be anything massive, and in some cases I won't want to change anything at all, but I want to re-submit my levels anyway, give them a breath of fresh air and see what happens.

I'm hoping to eliminate backroutes, tighten up time-limits, remove unnecessary skills, and basically play-test my levels to destruction!  :D

Maybe add a few more levels to your levelpaks :), I see a few with less than 10

Finally this thread is getting resurrected. Level 10 looks quite daunting to pass. Not passed it all yet.
