Before I made this topic, I realized that Mark Tsai is a British-Chinese person. We're moving into the stage play-like development of the Windows 95 games "Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings" and "Lemmings Paintball".

Here is Lemmings for Windows 95's credits with vague stage play-like information (off several manuals and the help file).
Windows 95 production and design: Visual Sciences
Original game design: DMA Design
Screenplay: Russell Kay and David Lees
Costumes: Mark Ireland and Geoff Gunning
Animation: Geoff Gunning
Stunt dog: Ben (pet dog to unknown developer)
Original music: Tim Wright (Amiga), Tony Williams (IBM PC)
Music conversion: PC Music off Yamaha XG soundchip
Key grip (movie manager): David Cowan
Catering (foodmaking and foodplanning): Clark Brittas and Sheilla Brittas
Best boy (assistant to chief electrician): Richard Swinfen
Foley artist (sound importer): Brian Marshall
Producers: Bill Allen and Richard Baxter
Product managers: David Dyett and Laura McLeod
Windows .hlp help file authoring: Michael J. Farren, Bill Allen, and Richard Baxter
Trained assassins (Lemmings professionals): Paul Charlesly, Craig Duddle, Paul Evason, Chris Rowley, and Lol Scragg
Public relations: Dana Oertell and Mark Day
Quality assurance: Stuart Allen, Paul Evason, Nevin Gaston, Lee O'Connor, Pat Russell, John Walsh, and Jonathon Wild
General dogsbody (junior with slow work that others avoid): Andrew Parsons
Windows 95 manual author: Damon Fairclough (Remixed from Mark Tsai's and Alexander Aranyosi's version)
Packaging design: Anthony Roberts
Boom operator (long boom mic without shadows): Booming Jack McBoom
In house dancers: Wobbly Albert and his Axnious People, Duncan Charles and his Mellow Boys, Ian A Grieve, and Kirstie Beamish

This concludes the credits. This is a fake notice of computer lemmings being euthanized:
"Psygnosis would like to clarify that this product has not
been tested on live animals in anyway, although we did
massacre thousands of computer Lemmings in the
process, in the course of which several hundred Lemmings
actually survived, but ended up suffering ruptured spleans
and other miscellaneous medical catastrophes.
The appropriate authorities have been informed but have
ruled that maltreatment of computer animals, even
Lemmings, do not come under their jurisdiction."

More information will come tommorrow.

I like the SNES, NES, and the Sega Mega Drive version manual of Lemmings although I hate the Mark Tsai and the Windows 95 version of the manual (the Mark Tsai version and the Windows 95 version has exclamations in parenthises in it due to my behavior concern and adjustment disorder). I also like the Atari Lynx version of the manual. I will post them later.

In a memo inside Lemmings 2: The Tribes, Tony Williams asked David Jones for CD music to play in the Tandy Video Information System port of Lemmings. The music will not work due to the Yamaha-cloned AdLib Gold FM soundchip. The CD music by PC Music was made in 1993 in the porting. PC Music converted the music from FM to remastered music (sometimes leading to errors) to suit the CD-ROM. Included is the intended intro music.

General Discussion / My new phone
January 12, 2026, 12:52:29 AM
Three days ago when this post was released, my phone was bent and unresponsive, so I got my new phone Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Next time, I will trade in my old Samsung Galaxy Note9 that has been with me for five years and a half at T-Mobile.

All of the British people and members of the Lemmings Forums will celebrate on the 35th anniversary of Lemmings on Valentine's Day (Februrary 14) 2026. Here are my fictional concepts on Lemmings mods and ports.

Lemmings for Windows 95: Director's Cut
Modified port of Windows 95 to modern PCs running Windows. Contains fixed errors (not counting the soundtrack), added "We all fall down" (Fun), "All the 6's....." and bonus levels, raised lemming capicity to 100, fixes instant fast forward bug on modern machines, MIDI conversion of DOS CD music (as known as the "Canadian Music'; plus copyrighted tracks known as "How Much is That Doggie In the Window" and "Forest Green"), fixed one-sound capicity.

Lemmings Paintball for Scratch 3.0
MIDI soundtrack recreated in FL Studio, online cloud play (user required), servers created for UK (Server 0), USA (Server 1), and Japan (remixed, Server 2), fullscreen game recreation from 480p to 720p (anti-aliased, 4:3 resolution), with help from famous Scratchers "griffpatch" and "GarboMuffin" (creator of TurboWarp, a Scratch extension engine), featured on the "Featured Projects" row in the Scratch index page (Server 0 the most popular, Server 2 behind), and added to online cloud gaming list in Scratch Addons.

Lemmings in Russia
Tribute to USSR and Russia by Russian Lemmings fan who migrated during the Russo-Ukrainian war to USA, soundtrack consisted of Russian folk, classic and 1990 Russian popular culture (seven soundtracks from Russian J2ME Lemmings were added), tilesets Moscow, Cuba (tropical), Siberia, Russian Woods, Russian Construction, Russian Old Times, and Russian 1970s, game in Russian and English, ports to Amiga, DOS (Easter egg leads to DOS CD version of Lemmings in Russia (with unique soundtrack called the "Russian Music" made in FL Studio)), Windows 95, and NeoLemmix.

Tech & Research / Dithering patterns in Lemmings
December 20, 2025, 02:36:35 AM
Dithering is used to reduce noise in the levels, such as crystals, and composite video blending in the PlayStation port of Lemmings. With the composite monitor simulator filter in RetroArch, the dithering patherns blend together; the checkerboard patterns in the crystal tileset in the PlayStation version of Lemmings does not count, so I decided to boost it.

If you get bored after eating Jelly Belly jelly beans, and decide to play Lemmings 3D, you go to a convenience store, (super)market, or a candy store, you buy Jelly Belly BeanBoozled jelly bean game to play. This creates a challenge that when saving the lemmings, you spin the spinner and eat jelly beans that are sweet or junk. You could also play BeanBoozled Fiery Hot to test your skills at eating peppers while playing Lemmings 3D.

Here are the impressions at lemmings playing Lemmings 3D and Jelly Belly BeanBoozled at the same time.

Impression 1

(Boo! Booo! Boo! Booo!)>📺<(BELLACH!)🎡:D ;P :)

Impression 2

(Hooray! Hey! Yay!)>📺:o<(Ow!) ;)

Many of people in the Internet Archive post their childhood game dumps (rips) as free to play games (which runs on M.A.M.E. (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator)). The most frequent Lemmings game archiver is Cloudoraemon (who goes by the name of CloudyEgg), who archived the Nintendo Game Boy version, the Macintosh II version, and the VGA, EGA, Tandy, and CGA version of the DOS version. Some Lemmings games on the Internet Archive are cracked. He also put The Tomato Watcher's improvement of the Nintendo Entertainment System version (NTSC) of Lemmings.

I have lost them. I got the Lemmings DOS CD-ROM from Internet Archive, but one of the files contain the CD music.

General Discussion / What I hate (and more)
September 20, 2025, 11:43:57 PM
They are EVIL! I don't like them. :(

Here is the list:
Insects - Entomophobia, buzzing noises, and supense that the insect starts to fly away, but except for virtual insects and virtual buzzes
Skull emojis - This makes me instantly silent for the rest of the day.
Exclamations in parenthesises - Examples: (even if you don't think it is!), (i.e. me!), and (for less than the price of a cup of coffee!)
Fighting or beating up dust clouds
Grawlixes - Comical or typographical
Censor bars (such as plain black)
Any censoring
Bleep censors - Default: 1000 Hertz
NO64
Online bullies
TikTok
Exaggerations
Asterisks as emphasis and censorship
Any censoring method
Akward tumbleweeds except for realistic desert tumbleweeds
Awkward cricket noises
The "? Well,"s
Baddie modern slangs - Examples: AFAIK (<color=red>As fuck</color> as I know), fudging, shitty, Russia
Diapers?
Kid-friendly text style
Question marks in parenthesis - Examples: (Ctrl+F11 or sometimes Ctrl+Shift+F11?)
Strikethrough text

If I see or hear one of these, you'll bother me! Suffer more and I will be silent!

You received an cardboard box with an lemming child inside of it. You decide to open the cardboard box. It is wild, and untamed. The lemming child looks at you. He needs your help. Pet your lemming child to tame. When he yippees, angers, cries, hungers, thirsts, yawns, or turns green, continue petting. If he yawns ten times, take him to a nest to sleep. Pet him to make him happy. Feed him drinks or food to eat. If you continue petting at receiving your pet lemming, he will become tame and you will be able to play minigames. Playing minigames will train his skills. When his skills are enough and his moods are fulfilled, return him to a certain tribe. You will start off with 50 gems. Go to the shop to care your lemming. If you neglect him for more than one week, he will run away to a cliff and jump. If you release the lemming to back to his tribe with status percentage under 75, you fail. If you release the lemming with status percentage with more than 80, you succeed. Tameness reaches its maximum at 50% and will be permanent.

(Percentages)
All statuses maximum 100%.
Petting the lemming - 5% happiness and tameness
Eating food depends on food type, and drinking drinks depends on drink type. The cost depends on food and drink type.

Grass - 3% hunger, 3 gems
Roots - 6% hunger, 5 gems
Acorns - 12% hunger, 10 gems
Water - 3% thirstiness, 3 gems
Clean water - 5% thirstiness, 5 gems
Lemming milk - 10% thirstiness, 10 gems
Berry juice - 15% thirstiness, 15 gems
Chocolate bar - 3% hunger, 5% happiness, but -5% healthiness, 15 gems
Medicine - 25% healthiness, 15 gems
Energy drink - 50% thirstiness, but -20% healthiness, 50 gems, locked before tamed
Grapes - 50% hunger, 50 gems, locked before tamed

(Minigames)
Succeed or fail, depending on your actions on minigames. Each skill must be 100%.

Running Course - Make your lemming run over gaps, and duck under overhanging terrain. - Fun: Runner, 3% running and +3 gems; Tricky: Ice skater, 5% running and +5 gems; Taxing: Ice skiier, 10% running and +10 gems

Lemming Bomb - Like the classic game Hot Potato, pass your lemming the bomb and he passes to you, so pass it to your lemming and repeat until it explodes. You have 10 seconds. - No difficulty, 5% bombing and +5 gems

Jetpack Boost - See how high your lemming can go! You have 3 jetpack boosters to give to your lemming. Maximum height: 150 feet. 1 booster = 50 ft.. - No difficulty, 3% jetpacking and +3 gems at 40 ft., 5% jetpacking and +5 gems at 90 ft., and 8% jetpacking and +8 gems at 130ft..

Float & Glide - Get the lemming to the bottom after avoiding 20 branches. Don't hit the branches or the sides! - Fun: Floater, 5% floating and +5 gems; Tricky: Parachuter, 5% parachuting and +6 gems; Taxing: Hang glider, 5% hang gliding and +8 gems

Dig for Victory - Start digging for some covered gems! You can't go up. Sparkles indicate gem locations. - No difficulty, 5% or 8% bashing, 5% or 8% digging, +1 gem, +3 gems, +5 gems, or +8 gems depending on gem location.

Target Catcher - Let your lemming hit the target. Harder difficulties have more windpower. - Fun: Mortar, 5% mortality, +5 gems; Tricky: Spearer, 5% spearing, +10 gems; Taxing: Archer, 5% archering, +15 gems

(Mood)
Idle: :)
Happy: :D
Hungry or Thirsty: :(

NeoLemmix Main / Other Lemmings port music
September 20, 2025, 04:30:06 PM
;) It's me again! So, I have been listening to other music from other Lemmings ports (such as Lemmings and Oh no! More Lemmings for Windows 95 and PlayStation (which the .mids from the game are ripped and converted to .ogg using Windows soundfont, and PlayStation CD-ROM ripped using a digital .cue ripper or physical disc drive and physical CD-ROM to rip from CDBurnerXP)), the CD-ROM of Lemmings for IBM PC (the soundtrack is similar to the Windows 95 and PlayStation versions, and also CD-i and 3DO versions of Lemmings, but the 3DO version has music errors in it), deliberately poor music from Nintendo Game Boy Color "Lemmings & OH NO! MORE LEMMINGS" (also known in Japan titled as "Lemmings VS." which is made in Japan months before Psygnosis was merged to Sony Computer Entertainment), the 8-bit music from Atari Lynx Lemmings (including the Menace soundtrack, which is exclusive to the credits of this version, but excluded when ripped), the FM music from NEC PC-9800 and Sharp X68000 versions of Lemmings (some soundtracks have faster tempo), the TurboGrafx-16 CD-ROM² version of Lemmings (which is similar to the soundtrack of Sega Genesis Lemmings), the rare soundtrack from SAM Coupé Lemmings & Oh No! More Lemmings (for example, an 8-bit remix of "Smile if You Love Lemmings"), the Amstrad CPC version of Lemmings (the soundtracks Menace and Shadow of the Beast II were composed to this version, but excluded when ripped), the Nintendo Entertainment System and Nintendo Game Boy version of Lemmings, the Atari ST port of Lemmings (the game's soundtrack resembles General Instrument AY-3-8910's square wave similarity to Texas Instruments SN76489 music and its choppy static percussion), and the Tandy 1000 port of Lemmings (IBM PC music conversion to chiptune music). In the future, I may rework the Lemmings .mids to be used in NeoLemmix. It may take a long time to rip these soundtracks to be placed in NeoLemmix.  :)  I'm running out of text, but also see the Oh No! More Lemmings other port music. See you later!
