I managed to save 15 lemmings on Namida's 'With love from Trogdor' level. Stupidly i forgot to save but when I looked it up online afterwards most solutions I found only saved 14 lemmings. I am pretty sure that someone has probably saved more, but I was really surprised and I don't know if I could replicate it again :)

Quote from: kaywhyn on January 15, 2026, 08:09:31 PMAh, yea, the issue you're seeing is that for some very odd reason in SuperLemmini and its forks doing it one direction is impossible whereas in the other it is but still very precise. I can't remember off the top of my head now which way it is, but I believe if you do it when building to the left then you can't block so that the builder turns but if you build to the right then you can.

Thanks I'll have a look. I managed to solve it in the end with 15 lemmings saved and I'm not at all sure how :D

It's definitely possible but seems very random as to if it works or not and I'm not quite sure what I've done wrong, as sometimes the walker is right at the end of the bridge and nothing happens when I do the blocker it just carries on, and other times they're on the same step. I tried to freeze frame it and see if it was something to do with what 'pose' the lemmings had when they walked, so like the guy with flat feet or with his foot forward etc and I still don't know. 🤣

Quote from: hrb264 on January 15, 2026, 08:15:59 AMI am managing to select the walker, but I'm still having problems with getting the walker to be a blocker at exactly the right moment so that the builder turns around. Can anyone give me any tips?

Yeah that can be a vary difficult trick to execute. If you're struggling, head to Settings and make sure that "Disable Frame Stepping" is unchecked (note to self: I'll really have to change that to a positive bool at some point). Then, you can pause the game and use the left mouse button to advance the game 1 frame at a time. This makes pixel-precise skill assignments much easier.
I managed to do it in the end but whether or not I can get it turned around or not doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to it, even with the frame stepping. 😅

Still I managed to do it in the end (this one was Namida's 'From Trogdor with love' level) and I managed to solve it using two bombers, so saved one more lemming than the level asked for. Unfortunately I forgot to save the replay though :D

Quote from: WillLem on January 14, 2026, 04:18:01 PMIcho is correct, make sure Advanced Select is checked in Settings and press the Up arrow to select a Walker (you'll see the cursor display a little "W" as well).

The next RetroLemmini update will (hopefully) have customisable hotkeys, it's the next thing on the to-do list! :)

Thanks! :D

Quote from: IchoTolot on January 12, 2026, 07:48:57 PMOh, I just saw this is Lemmini and not NeoLemmix.  :-[

I do not remember if the up arrow walker select works in Lemmini - it's been a long time since I played on that engine.  :P

Not sure if it will work on Lemmini but I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip - I have neolemmix but didn't get on with it the first time I tried. I will give it another go though. :D

Here's my replay of Inside Outside (Danger 1) - in the end I didn't need a miner and used two bombers.

I managed to do it in the end and didn't even need a miner!

For example, it always seems to end up like this even though I did the blocker when it was just in front of where the builder was, at the absolutely last place I could put it before it fell off? I've done it twice by accident now but both times it's ended up wrong.

Yea I've played a few of the holiday lemmings levels and i noticed that the steel in that was a bit weird in comparison to the steel in most of the other levels I've played?

I'm currently playing the Lemmings Plus 1 pack by @namida on retrolemmini and I'm really enjoying it so far, it's everything I really liked about playing lemmings as a kid and I really like the new levels. However there's one particular level that requires a blocker to turn around a builder while it's building a bridge, and I cannot figure out where to do it? The spot I think where you have to do it, the game will not let me select the walker when I'm trying to turn it into a blocker and it just selects the builder instead even when I use framestepping and move my cursor all around where the lemmings are. But more often it just won't turn the builder around even when it's standing in front, I know it's possible as I did it by accident the first time but something else went wrong with the lemmings and I had to start again?

Challenges / Re: What skills can't you live without?

If the skill is available i usually try and dig a pit to contain the lemmings and then get a guy off to go and build/bash etc.

Congratulations! Well done on finishing the Oh No! levels, it's a remarkable achievement and I'm happy that you were able to finish the pack in RetroLemmini :)
thanks :) I think some of it was honestly down to luck and i doubt i could do it again :D

Someone has probably solved it 100%, but this is how I solved 'A ladder would be handy' at 99% with only one blocker:

I'm not playing through anything in any particular order just having a bit of fun atm. The original holiday levels are a bit hard so I'm going to come back to them :D

Level Design / Re: Immediate turn-offs

Not really a turn off but I am not very good at levels with lots of thin pillars that you have to build right on the edge of, it's quite stressful and I usually get it wrong lol. I also don't like levels where you have to blow up a load of lemmings as well.
