Other Projects / Re: coding a Lemmings clone + its level-editor

You could take advantage of this editor's compatibility. Why not add a built-in level tester to the editor just like in Lunar Magic?

Unfortunately, I cannot animate it because it does NOT support gif files. :(
But I have updated my title MORE!

They got someone else instead of the first Lemmings voice actor, said the phases weirdly, then sped the pitch and speed up. I still think they did not too bad but not too good.

I just notice something when slowing down this file down 75%! ??? It sounds like a normal human! I put a comparison of both, the in-game one and the slowed down one in the attachments.

I took a crack at it and turned out I needed the byte order to be "Default endianness." Here is some of the samples I converted.

Has anyone tried to find results for sounds?

I wonder if it is possible for Amiga support. As an Amiga ROM is MUCH more shorter in the data department. Which would mean it would cost me less data on my Android tablet.

You know you've played too much Lemmings when...

  • You buy a crochet Lemming! (I have..)
  • You make a CHINK sound whenever you hit metal.
  • You make a Lomax hat out of a metal cup and red feathers.
  • You pretend a play house as Mr. Lemming's house.
  • You bash snow like a Lemming. (I did that too...)
  • Hack a game's graphics to replace the character with a Lemming

Help & Guides / Re: Lemmings 3D music problems
« on: April 06, 2013, 06:25:21 PM »
Never mind, I found a dos version online that had music. but.. whenever I put the music sound card on a different one, it does nothing... Is this properly configured? Also, if i go to options and turn the CD Music on full, the in-game's music mutes.   ???

I have some minor/major complaints to the unfinished version currently.

  • Cannot nuke making me wait for time to be up.
  • The select right and left buttons do nothing.
  • Special levels are blank.
  • Very lacking of menu currently (That is very understandable as it is not yet finished.)
  • No multiplayer!
  • Black background (Theory why this is: DOS version?)
  • No sound or music.
  • Scrolling too far on the level viewing screen can get you lost.
  • Level viewing screen has no stats!
  • No character selector.
  • You can choose any level (For those who do not know what this means, the original lemmings has you to play each level.)
  • Needs Lemmings 2: The Tribes, The Lemmings Chronicles, and Lix level support.
