Title: Level of the Year 2022: Playing Phase

Alright, so nominations are now closed. Before we open the voting, we first offer a period to play the levels again, to familiarize yourself with those you haven't yet played and review those you have.

The list of nominated levels can be found in the nominations topic (https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?topic=6132.0), I see no need to duplicate it here. It also contains information on where to find these levels outside of my compilation here.

Every author with 2 or more levels in this category gets an own rank in the pack. At the end there is a mixed rank for the leftover levels. Extract the zip file inside the main NL folder.

Some gathered replays from a few of the nominated levels. As this was optional, only a part of the pack is covered here.


The (currently) non-standard style "glitchapp_underwaterdivingstyle" is needed for one nominated level! I have posted it here (https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?topic=5684.msg98568#msg98568).

If there are any errors I've made in the collection, don't hesitate to inform me here! As a reminder: This pack is nothing more than an optional service I provide as an attempt to make all nominated levels more easily accessible.

Solved all the levels of the LOTY2022 Collection pack. Here are my replays. Also, I've recorded my solutions to the nominated levels. For the time being, here are the first three:

The only levels I needed to play and solve were Armani's Faith Is Common, Logic Is Rare, and Master88's The Devil Is In The Details.

Wow, great level but I was stuck here longer than I should had been. I had the right idea to dig away the platformer at the start, but I completely overlooked having the second lemming turn around on the blocker first before digging. The rest of the solution came easily after that. Before I finally realized this, everything I kept trying didn't work, as the zombie would get one of them before I could get the other tasks done. I also tried the idea of platforming twice at the start, interrupt the second platformer with a shimmier, dig down for a bit before blocking. This nearly works, except again the zombie catches the other one after some time.

Fun fact: Yet another level where my time taken is the digits of Pi, 3:14, but only in the first 3 digits :laugh:

The hardest part is getting a lemming far enough ahead in order to make the digger pit so that no one slips by him. This was another level that I got stuck longer than I should had, only because I was a dummy and forgot that the glider who collected the pickups is also a climber. Instead, I kept despairing over the fact that the instant the climber turns around at the top would bounce off the wall after jumping :forehead: Turns out I had the solution, I just needed to make the glider/climber jump later. Nice level! :thumbsup:

I've already played Mystify's Time Waster 500, Icho's May The Guides Bless My Journey, and WillLem's Clickbait in the mini #WasteMyTime Contest compilation I put together. I was already told by Icho that I have the intended solution to his #WasteMyTime entry, and WillLem's should be as well.

Dexter's Cause and Infect is just a resolve of V2, since I backrouted V1 from a while back. Again, I was already told by Dexter that my solution is acceptable :thumbsup:

Finally, I already played and solved Turrican's Underwater Caverns in his Mike's Lemmings Version 2 pack and was told my solution is acceptable :thumbsup:

TL:DR - All my solutions should be intended/acceptable :thumbsup:

Alright, got the picture links now and I need to form groups and stuff, but I am away this weekend so I probably will get everything ready during the next one. :)
