Title: [BUG][PLAYER] Crash on level select screen
Post by: WillLem on April 03, 2020, 01:11:14 PM
It's happening almost every time I load the player at the moment. I've started organising the level packs into folders - could this be it?

Try going into the settings folder, opening the settings document, and looking for "LastActiveLevel". If it refers to a level you've moved, manually update the pathmap to point to the level's new location.

Thanks Proxima.

Last active level was a PimoLems level, which I moved a while ago - the path was correct.

It seems to be working fine now. If it happens again I'll check exactly what's going on: whether I have any other active NL windows, what the Last active level was, etc. Any other suggestions are welcome, too.

This is still happening, and I'm not sure why. But, it does seem to be happening ever since I organised level packs into sub-folders.

So, I have put all original levels into one folder, all community packs into another, challenge/contest packs into yet another, and finally my own packs in another.

It's sometimes OK, but sometimes it crashes NeoLemmix. Do I have to make sure they're indexed properly or something, or - will I have to unpack the folders and have them all in a separate list again?

Does it give an actual error message, or does it just suddenly exit? If there's an error message, what does it say?

Neither, it just hangs and then I get the standard Windows "(Not responding)" text. It seems intermittent as well - sometimes it's fine.
