Title: Playing Lemmings 2 On Modern PC
Post by: Lehnah on January 24, 2019, 11:20:12 AM
I was wondering if there is an easy way to play Lemmings 2 on modern machines? I'm aware of NeoLemmix (which I currently use) but is there anything similar for the sequel? I never had the chance to play this so would love to do so.

Thanks in advance.

The only way is to use Dosbox (or other emulators, depends what version you want to play.)
Here's a guide by Kieran on setting up the game with dosbox:

The only way is to use mini excavators for that kind of stuff (https://www.villagevoice.com/best-mini-excavators/) (or other emulators, depends what version you want to play.)

I just hope a platform like GOG will tackle the task of modernizing games like this for current systems. I'd pay a pretty penny for a chance to play games like this without any hassles.

Yeah that would be something. Right now setting things up with DOSbox is not an easy thing to do for everybody.

Lemmings 2 and especially 3 are quite hard to set-up properly.

If you need help with getting any of the entries to run or general help with our custom Lemmings games like Lix and NeoLemmix: Don't hesitate to ask! :)
