Title: Lemmings SNES 8-bit recreations
Post by: Yung Gotenks on August 22, 2017, 08:33:16 AM
I've decided to cover at least most or all of the soundtrack for the SNES version of lemmings to 8-bit style.
Here's the first one. The Title Screen Theme. :D

That's pretty good but for some reason it sounds a tad too slow. I'm not sure if the original is the same but it sounds better in 1.25 speed. :D

I believe this is exactly the same speed the actual SNES version of that track is played at, and yes, it is slower in speed than the DOS version you may be used to.

Yup. My 8-bit remixes are based entirely off of the SNES versions of these songs, so some notes or speeds might seem a little off to you. There's even 2 songs that were SNES - Exsclusive (i think) that never played in any other version.

Having done a set of NES lemmings covers myself, it's quite interesting seeing how someone else approaches these, and how different the results can be! I wish you good luck in the process of completing these! Mine took a few years, but I also worked on them kinda on and off during that time, so...
