Title: Youtube is freakin' 10 how old does make you feel?

I remember that day when my mom stumbled acrossed youtube when it first launch
i remember watching my fair share of amvs (which i'll never do again)
Then i got my acount in 2009 and later the user name "GigaLem" grew on me
still i can't believe its been ten years since youtube launched

Only 10 years old? Wow. I can hardly imagine a life without YouTube :P

You tube has so many videos, where would we be if it was not for you tube. It feels like you tube has been here forever. :)

It took me sometime to figure out how to upload a video onto you tube no kidding there.

I learned the hard way that editing and saving a video a lot decreases the quality. Did you ever noticed that 240p videos look worst then before? I think one of Youtube's updates ruined that quality.

I miss youtube in 2005 when the description was on the side and it wasn't full of adds and horse***.

Ze Frank, one of the first and best imo "internet talk show/blog people, started in 2006, on his own website but eventually moved to youtube. There are other video sites but youtube basically took monopoly on that front.

Ten years? Wow. Yeah, that does make me feel kind of old. I still keep thinking of it as a fairly recent thing. This may be partially because I've always preferred reading text to watching/listening to videos, so I never have made much use of YouTube.
