Because most of us are in the northern hemisphere and the fact that it's winter up here I thought I'd raise this situation. If you only wanted to wear one of these three items for a cold winter's night out which one would you wear (Or otherwise think will be the most useful)? I'd wear gloves, because my hands go cold quicker than my neck and face.

I use a neckwarmer (not a scarf) preferably. Out of these three I choose a hat.
-
I would pick the hat.
-
Gloves. I just don't feel comfortable putting anything round my neck.
-
Hat!
You can use your pockets instead of gloves, and a big collar instead of a scarf. Nothing can really replace a hat though.

Saw the topic title and expected to find another Hurt and Heal game
I usually reach for the gloves first as the temperature goes down, but if it's cold enough for a hat and I only get one choice, I'll take the hat.
+1 Hats

SCARF has many uses.
-
Well actually I usually go for a thick fluffy coat preferably with hood, so none of the above--although I suppose in that scenario the glove would be the least redundant.
-
Hats and scarves also wouldn't make me feel comfortable to see someone wearing when preparing my food. Just sayin'.

I made a post here yesterday and then it vanished then everyone's avatar vanished too...

I never heard of neckwarmers before!
I'd go with gloves, since my hands get cold and frost bitten easily. I never wear scarfs, I haven't ever felt the need for one and they are itchy.

uh, sorry but I don't get it. why?

For temporary excursions outside, none of the above. For extensive time outside while skiing or working with snow... All of them, but if I really had to pick just one, I'd say gloves? This is sort of like asking me if I find the steering wheel or the gas tank on my car more useful.
