So there is work in progress right now to turn world of warcraft into a singleplayer RPG offline with BOTS. It's coming along nicely, and the whole idea of it is totally epic!
I am playing Lix (gnome warlock) with Lemming (gnome mage)[as a bot im controlling also] on my own private server. Here's some quick pics

You can spawn many bots all over the world to do their own thing, or take a group into dungeons etc. Things need work as its quite beta, but its super impressive what is capable already.
