No school!
Everything.
I'm off school, I'm going for new glasses later, my mother got the job she applied for and, to top it all off, I received a top-of-the-range computer off my stepfather.
Beat that. =P
I finally beat the arcade of the first Gradius without dying.
Oh, wow. That's a tough challenge. Congrats.

Today, we tidied up the lounge. For reference, yesterday the floor was invisible. Covered with books and boxes and papers. Now, it's sparkly.

No school!
That can't happen to me, I'm afraid. I have to go back next week (For only one more year).
Anyway, the good thing that happened to me is that I've written a music composition of 6 flats!
And also, having to bump this topic from the bottom to the top!
I farted.
Mole Miner, a game to which I contributed a set of 15 levels, was released today and the feedback so far seems to be pretty positive
Feel free to tell us (or just me) more about Mole Miner......
Heh, thanks

It's a bit like the Repton games, only with quite a lot of new features -- a few more puzzle objects, a Lemmings-like percentage system so the designer can include optional puzzles for extra challenge, variable level sizes, and quite a range of wall and floor graphics. It's written for the
Android, which means I've actually had to design my levels without ever playing the game, on the basis of the designers answering my questions as I went along about the game objects' behaviour and interactions. It should be quite fun, though!
Haha! I have one more week off school then I'm going back on the 3rd of September.
Eh? Well, then, when is your last day of school?
Eh? Well, then, when is your last day of school?
Did you mean "When
was your last day of school". If so, it was the 17th of July. I have a six-and-a-half week break. During one week I was at a boarding school for an occasion so if I signed up before I went, I would be telling everyone about the fact that I would have left. That was between the 19th to the 24th of July so it was before I entered the lemmings forums.
I actually DID mean when is. MAybe you should just put the average time. My summer is longer, because it starts earlier, and while it does start a few weeks earlier, mine starts a month + a few weeks earlier.
Good thing of the day? I'm now in college. Woohoo!
I've completed 35 laps of Sebring in Forza Motorsport 2!
This isn't about today, but it seemed the most appropriate topic to tell you guys about my weekend

I was at Retro Reunited in Huddersfield, a gaming convention for fans of the BBC Micro and games of that era. Recently I'd been asked to make some levels for Mole Miner, a new game coming out inspired by the Repton series, and even though I built 15 levels this was not just the first time I met the game's creators, it was the first time I'd had a chance to play it! And it was great to see it in action at last -- viewing the levels in the editor just isn't the same experience, especially on the crappy monitor I'm cursed with.
As well as that, I got to meet Matthew Atkinson, the programmer of Repton 3 and hence one of the gods I've worshipped ever since I was tiny

He'd come to give a talk and question-and-answer session, and I spoke to him briefly after that, but he wasn't staying so I couldn't show him my YouTube videos of the fastest possible completion of his levels

And of course, I played a variety of games, from old favourites like Space Pilot and Galaforce to a few games I'd never heard of -- particularly in the second room, where they had a huge variety of platforms, some not
quite as ancient as the BBC Micro. Perhaps the highlight of the day was an interesting match at Chu Chu Rocket with my friend Jonathan, which I won by 846-3!
Huddersfield, that's in England, so I think you are English as well as me

. Although I do live inland, I don't live anywhere near where you were.
I won by 846-3!
Gee. 846-3, That's more like a record-breaking Cricket score.
I scored a 250K medal on Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook.
Well done... although I have to admit I never go on Facebook
Well, if you do decide to go on there, don't submit all your details.
