Title: Lemmix (Level Editor) & Wine
Post by: Ron_Stard on December 01, 2008, 12:36:39 PM

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I installed Wine on my Linux Slax, and tried to run Lemmix (the Level Editor). And it worked REALLY FINE...! ...save for the fact that the cursor cross didn't show very well while playing... Do I have to configure Wine in a special way in order to run Lemmix properly, or is just a bug of the editor itself?

I know that this hasn't been replied in at all for a while, but...

Do you have the latest version of Lemmix?  That *could* be the problem.

The mouse doesn't show in Lemmix properly under Wine or CrossOver under normal conditions. Alternate solution could be to enable or disable hardware acceleration in winecfg, make sure you have the latest version of Lemmix as DullStar suggested, update to the latest version of Wine, or compile Wine from source.

Alternatively, use Lemmini, Tundra, or run Customized Lemmings in a DOSBox.

Of course, I wouldn't know, because I don't have to deal with that at all.

Another idea is, of course, Virtualbox.

Hope that solves the problem...
