this are some level that (for now) i made for my
psychopatic dificulty pack of neolemmix ;)
Welcome to the forum lemkeev20.
You're teasing people here with psychopatic difficulty levels. I'm a bit scared for now (and playing some other levels), but I'm sure high skill players around here will post solutions soon (I'm teasing them too ;))
dont worry, im just testing out names for the packs, its actually hard but not to hard.
i try to make the as hard a i can, these are just the easiest levels of the pack (btw the name
is kindoff gonna be different in the final version)
what if the town with no name and lemmings meetup?
well... this gets made...
basically using the bizzare tune
of the town with no name
and a level of lemmings
first time testing lemmings 2 styles in neolemmix
for my fanpack called x-tralems
happy very early holidays... :santa:
beacuse of this im giving you...
thats right!
4 early jolly X-tralems holiday bonus pack preview levels! :excited:
these are some early jolly sneak peeks of the pack!
full version comes out soon!
stay tuned!
lemmings redeluxe changes! ;)
lemmings redeluxe > X-tralems (name is based of nota_steve's notalems)
new pack: holiday bonus :santa: and toughly :-[ in progress!
new music!
new styles! :lemming:
and way more?
idk still work in progress but here are some levels from the in-work toughly pack!
Hey there lemmkeev. I feel like trying your level one of these days because you seem to have created many of them.
I remember your posted some other ones in another part of the forum when you first suscribed. Can you post them here too so that we have all of them at the same place ?

btw this is the level
i had this in mind
thats right! demo levels arrrived!
six demo levels that will be in the full game!
a topic where i upload somethimes my levels for people
to play
I solved 16 levels by lemmkeev20 that I found here and there on the forum.
There are at least 2 more of them out there but I missed some style pieces to play them (the big one, there's two doors now ?)
They were nice little levels overall, with varied settings and not so varied solutions. Very low difficulty perfect for a relaxing lemmings time ! I often have many skills left and save more than requirement.
Keep up the work with level designing lemmkeev, and maybe post them in a more orderly fashion on the forum ;)
FWIW, I agree with Silken here, we should probably merge the level topics as it's clear that the levels are supposed to be grouped together. Edit Simon: Yep! Done!
@lemmkeev Check out Level Pack creation tools (https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?topic=6352.0), there are some useful .bat scripts that can help you to compile your levels into a pack, as and when you're ready to take that step with your levels. People are more likely to get around to playing your levels if they're presented as a pack, or - at the very least - all together in a single topic.
Here are some replays for the levels you have shared in this topic and the one linked above. Have fun and keep creating!
levels for X-tralems ok?
As I mentioned in the "so you actually made it here huh?" thread (https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?msg=110048), given Namida's rules and his own statements, you making a new thread for a "X-tralems" level pack alongside the "so you actually made it here huh?" standalone level before Namida told you the rule and that it wouldn't be retroactively applied by himself (unless another mod wanted to merge them) and/or de-facto "lemmkeev20's one-off levels" thread, is only "ok" if they aren't, and I quote, "those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice," (which given the fact that "psychopathic difficulty" pack fits that definition, and I'm sure I recall another thread which fit that definition which seems to be deleted now, and Namida felt it necessary to edit his message to include that, I highly doubt your going to do a complete 180° on).
Edit: This information might be wrong actually as it seems Simon is merging some posts into this thread, and why would he do that if this thread isn't allowed
Quote from: lemmkeev20 on September 26, 2026, 11:25:33 PMlevels for X-tralems ok?
All right, you're going to post your levels into here as they come out. That's good.

Ok yeah you can make this thread a "lemmkeev20's one-off levels/nominal packs" thread if you want and archive the other thread or something, up to you, doesn't really matter what thread it is. These are all the remaining levels:

look can we please not discuss anymore :( ?
i already made the topic for my levels!

I was just trying to help you by clearing up the site rules to you. Anyway if you continue following the rules (i.e. posting nominal packs/one-off levels in here, and then making a new topic if you actually decide to make a non-"those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice" pack one day) there shouldn't be any more need to discuss it.
Quote from: lemmkeev20 on September 27, 2026, 12:56:54 AMi already made the topic for my levels!
Oh? Was this topic meant to be a lemmkeev20's one-off levels pack not a topic for a level pack called "X-tralems." In that case my initial advice (https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?msg=110049) might have been wrong if it was on the basis of that. If that was what you meant, then my advice at the time would have been "I think Namida wants you to keep on using the 'so you actually made it here huh?' thread," but now Simon has already designated this thread as a lemmkeev20's one-off levels/nominal packs, it doesn't matter now anyway
Should this thread be renamed to "lemmkeev20's one-off levels/nominal packs"?
Also why is this thread and https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?topic=7593.0 in "In Development" and not "NeoLemmix Levels"
- Don't remove this topic
- Post any more one-off levels and/or "those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice" packs in here
- Make a new topic for any non-"those that nominally slap a 'pack' name onto it while still just being another unorganised random level dump in practice" packs
Pretty simple rules

Looks like the attachments accidentally got removed from that post while I was merging it into this one. You'll need to re-add them.
And for the last time, stop creating new topics for one or two levels. The fact that you have - within just a few weeks on this site - already built up a reputation for creating topics solely to share one or two levels, means you will not be given any benefit of the doubt when it comes to topics that appear to be trying to find loopholes to continue doing this. If you are genuinely struggling to understand the rules (and the intent behind them), as opposed to just looking for loopholes, then perhaps the best idea would be to treat this topic as the only place you share your levels.

Wasn't the second-latest post here in a "level design" board with a level attached to it? I think that's fair enough honestly to show a level to demonstrate your level design princples or whatever? I don't think he was trying to loophole tbh. I feel like it only probably got moved because of his reputation it seemed like he was trying to loophole.

Don't mean to minimod, feel free to tell me it's none of my business, but may I suggest that you/we all not give him hard time about this and/or no punitive action gets taken e.g. forum warnings unless it gets really bad? I think English could possibly not be his 1st language, he seens to get upset when him breaking the rules get pointed out, I don't think he's deliberately trying to break the rules, and it's pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things to just move the level to the right place. But again feel free to say it's none of my buisness and to stay out of it
The reason for the rules has been explained. Multiple times we have attempted to explain to lemmkeev what is and isn't appropriate, only for him to go and create a topic that ignores the spirit of everything said in favor of looking for some "exact words" technicality or cover story to continue posting new topics for a small number of levels. Whether this is an intentional attempt to exploit loopholes, or a genuine failure to understand, setting an explicit "post your levels in this topic only" guideline avoids any further issues.
I am sure you can understand the idea that sometimes if people are struggling to understand general rules, they may need bespoke ones specifically tailored to them, which in some cases may be a bit stricter in order to reduce the risk of misunderstandings and/or reduce the need for judgement calls that someone is struggling to make correctly.
And with this said, that's where I'm drawing the line on discussing this issue with people who are not involved in it. Going forward I will only discuss lemmkeev's individual situation further with other site staff, or with lemmkeev himself. Unless a need arises to make a public post directed at lemmkeev on this subject again, it's time for this topic to go back to its original purpose: for leemkeev to share his levels, rather than to discuss the standards of the NeoLemmix Levels board and its subforums and enforcement thereof.

anyways...
here is a level made using backround made by me
(note that it also requires a custom backround which il post later cuz i'm REALLY nervous of getting banned and i dont want to get banned :( )
Uploading backgrounds for your levels in this topic is fine. That being said - (this part is advisory, not a rule) make sure you tell people where to put them (ie: what style name they should be under), as a loose file doesn't carry that information on its own, and I expect most people won't bother if they have to look into the level file to figure out where to put the background.

REALLY COOL LEVEL?! :lem-mindblown: :lem-mindblown: :lem-mindblown: well no worries ;) !
mr lemmdo is hiring any players who make levels with neolemmix!
rules (some are not obligatory but some might me important!)
1: levels can only be done in neolemmix editor (you can also use willem's fork of neolemmix editor, not superlemmix)
2: levels must have the next things
-hatch
-goal
-number of lemmings (anything else can be put freely!)
3: you can make levels about any theme! like anime, lemmings 2 and other stuff
(however if your level has the next things
-gore or blood
PLEASE PUT A WARNING :-[ )
4:your level can have the main game music and the music used for the game (and also the ohno music)
5:you can share any level to add it to the game (you will be credited)
and those are all the rules! :D
anyone like nota_steve or everyone who makes levels for neolemmix can share your levels here to them to be used on my pack named X-tralems  !
so take your time and share when its done! :D
let's go! /size]:lem4ever:
hey ichotolot!
if you see this can you please upload a gameplay of this level?
also you have to download this song and put it into the music folder
(is beacuse i want to show to youtube users a preview of this level without having them to beat it) :D

Yo, cheers for the levels so far @lemmkeev20  I mean, very easy, but a bit of fun! I'll never complain when people drop new levels! Two levels I can't get to load due to missing style elements: the big one calls for a bit of terrain from the special folder called 'The_King_Of_Blue' and theres two doors now requires a background from special called 'magentivitis'. I checked through the topic and you don't seem to have posted either of em.

Maybe but that name implies that levels/packs outside of "random levels" and "X-tralems previews" won't be posted in this thread (e.g. the final finished "X-tralems" pack and collections of levels nominally called "packs") and and if you make a new thread for them Namida probably won't like that if that happens.... Although making a new thread for the final "X-tralems" finished release is to the best of my knowledge in accordance with the rules in the rules thread and Namida's own statements; as long as he doesn't deign the final finished release of the "X-tralems" pack a "nominal" pack. In fact if the "random levels" in your title includes "nominal packs" then that name should follow all the rules Namida has set out actually to the best of my understanding.

No, I don't think that's at all necessary. It was just a suggestion to fix the artefact left over by the fact this thread was seemingly for a specific pack and then Simon deigned this a thread for all your one-off levels and nominal packs and didn't update the name. My name is fine and everything a thread name needs to be.

What's wrong with just using "X-traLems" as the title? It ain't broke, don't fix it.

It doesn't matter. And honestly, I think it's rather rude to take up so much of lemmkeev20's topic with posts that are nothing to do with their levels. Please just let them call the topic whatever they want.
Quote from: Proxima on October 24, 2026, 04:19:00 PMIt doesn't matter
It does matter. Threads shouldn't be called something completely different to do with what they are. To give a metaphor, it would be like if we made a thread for sharing pictures of lemmings and we decided to change it to a thread for sharing pictures of all rodents and then we just forgot to update the name. It would be completely confusing. The thread only has an inaccurate name because Simon designated this a thread for a new thing from what it originally was and moved in posts from outside the thread that were that thing into here and forgot to update the name.
Quote from: Proxima on October 24, 2026, 04:19:00 PMAnd honestly, I think it's rather rude to take up so much of lemmkeev20's topic with posts that are nothing to do with their levels.
I completley disagree with you that it is rude. It's not like threads have a post limit, I'm not "using up" any space a level could be posted in, and it seems perfectly reasonable to post about meta-information (e.g. the thread having a wrong title due to Simon forgetting/not thinking to update it when he designated it to be updated to the thread to be for all of lemmkeev20's levels and nominal packs) in the thread itself.
Quote from: Proxima on October 24, 2026, 04:19:00 PMPlease just let them call the topic whatever they want.
Someone being the author of a thread gives them some discretion over the title, quite a bit actually, sure, but it doesn't give them free reign to just call it whatever they want, as having an inaccurate title effects everyone else, not just themselves. Should I be allowed to make a thread for sharing pictures of hamsters and call it "Share pictures of Lemmings in this thread" and force everyone who uses it to go "I want to share hamsters, oh no, that's the thread for sharing Lemmings that has the wrong name" just because
I created the thread?
uhh i think i should name the pack to "X-tralems corporation levels and packs" is it any better? ???
I think the level topic is perfectly fine! :8():
It fits for single levels by lemmkeev20 and can also serve as a development topic if this turns into a finalised X-tralems pack.
If the pack comes out and this topic shall serve for futher single levels it can then still be renamed if necessary, but even that is optional.
We do not need to micro manage every single topic so the name fits 100% to the exact detail.
The most important thing is that not every new single level gets its own topic - that we achieved and the title of this topic also fits the current theme well enough.
So, let's not take this topic off topic and leave room for the actual levels from lemmkeev20! :)
Quote from: lemmkeev20 on October 24, 2026, 05:14:35 PMuhh i think i should name the pack to "X-tralems corporation levels and packs" is it any better? ???
No. "X-tralems" isn't the name of any real corporation. If your using it as a stand for "lemmkeev20's" why not just say that? Also if it is, this includes non-nominal packs, which Namida did say you can make a new thread for. It's more accurate then your previous title I guess, but why can't we just use my name "lemmkeev20's levels/nominal packs"? That name is objectively the best name.
Quote from: IchoTolot on October 24, 2026, 05:16:42 PMI think the level topic is perfectly fine! :8():
No it is not "perfectly fine." The current thread name is just an artefact of the fact that this thread was seemingly a thread for a pack named "X-tralems," and then Simon designated this to be a lemmkeev20's levels/nominal packs thread, and he just decided to move them all into this thread instead of just creating a new thread. I 100% promise you he would have just called it that if he made a new topic. The current title is not fit for purpose.
Quote from: IchoTolot on October 24, 2026, 05:16:42 PMIt fits for single levels by lemmkeev20 and can also serve as a development topic if this turns into a finalised X-tralems pack.
No it doesn't; it seems a bit odd for single-levels by lemmkeev20 to be posted in a title which would make it seem like it's a development topic for a pack that's in-progress.
Quote from: IchoTolot on October 24, 2026, 05:16:42 PMIf the pack comes out and this topic shall serve for futher single levels it can then still be renamed if necessary,
This
currently serves as a topic for single levels, not just "shall serve for [them]" in the future
if the pack comes out.
Quote from: IchoTolot on October 24, 2026, 05:16:42 PMWe do not need to micro manage every single topic so the name fits 100% to the exact detail.
This is not micromanging; this is a significant difference, not just "micromanagement." Simon designated this thread to be a lemmkeev20's levels/nominal packs thread, and it still has the old name from when it was just seemingly for a pack named "X-tralems."
Quote from: IchoTolot on October 24, 2026, 05:16:42 PMand the title of this topic also fits the current theme well enough.
No it doesn't "fit the current theme well enough." The title of this topic would suggest that this is a development pack named "X-tralems," not what it actually is, which is a lemmkeev20's levels/nominal packs thread.
Quote from: IchoTolot on October 24, 2026, 05:16:42 PMSo, let's not take this topic off topic
I am not taking this topic off-topic. I think posting meta information about a thread in a thread such as the inaccurate title as an aterfact of the fact Simon designated this to be a lemmkeev20's levels/nominal packs thread, and he just decided to move them all into this thread, instead of just creating a new thread and not going to the Site Discussion board for just a "you forgot to rename the thread when you changed what the thread was" is completely reasonable and on-topic. If you think it's necessary move all of these posts to "Site Discussion" in a new thread, then you are free to do so, but I don't think that's necessary.

As I said previously, I am not "using up any room" for lemmkeev20's levels. Threads don't have a post limit, and when the server's storage runs out Namida will upgrade it, so I'm not "using up any room." We have unlimited room.
Honestly I don't get why such a big discussion has spawned out of this. I thought this was just going to be a menial objectively good one-post house keeping duty, this thread was seemingly a thread for a pack named "X-tralems," and then Simon designated this to be a lemmkeev20's levels/nominal packs thread, and he just decided to move them all into this thread instead of just creating a new thread, and it still kept the old, no-longer accurate name. So now the thread had changed has it still kept the old name of the original thread all the posts were moved too so now just update it to what the thread now actually is. Simple. Done in 5 minutes. I don't get why this has spawned such a big discussion. I thought this would be an obviously objectively correct menial housekeeping change.
To be honest, you are making the huge discussion here Silken.
I would highly advice to chill down a bit, take a step back and be less invested in another person's topic name.
You are missing the main point anyway:
lemmkeev20 can name this topic as he likes, regardless of the arguments you are making for a certain name or designation.
Yes, Simon may have merged without thinking too much about the name and now it may be less accurate, but now it's in the author's hand as no more rules are being violated.
I'll leave the name up to him. You have made a suggestion and it's on him to accept it or don't.
The main goal was just to avoid having a new topic for every single level released as this directly violates a rule. That has been achieved. Case closed.
Him being the author of the topic gives him some authority, a lot even, but he still can't name it whatever he likes. By that logic, I make 2 bug reports in the Lix topic and swap their two names, so the topic named "Bug 1" describes bug 2 and vice versa, if I request they don't be changed and give no rhyme or reason for it would that be followed?

Not to whatever he likes, yes, but
the topic's name is completely in the realm of acceptable! The rest is up to him.
Your argument with the bug topic is on a completely different level and you are comparing apples with pears as a saying in my region would state.
Of course those names would be changed reagardless to your stated request that they match them correctly, as you are also actively deceiving there.
And now let lemmkeev20 decide about the name and let it rest!
It's not comparing apples and oranges, this is the basically same thing. This thread is for lemmkeev20's one-off levels and nominal packs and the title says it's just an In-Development topic for the "X-tralems" pack. Obviously it's not exactly, the point of an analogy is to compare another idea to a different similar idea to better illustrate the point, if it was exactly the same it wouldn't be an analogy, but it is basically the same thing. The only difference is the topic's title is a small subset of what the topic actually is, but I don't think that breaks the over all analogy that the topic title is inaccurate so we can change it without the author necessarily wanting it to be changed.

We have that expression in England too actually but it's called "comparing apples and oranges" in England.
@Silken: I think you missed my hints so far.
So one last time:
Let it go and let the author choose the tile.
I am also not the only moderator thinking this is enough for now.
Further posts in here derailing the topic will be removed.
Quote from: Silken Healer on October 24, 2026, 06:12:11 PMNo. That name is objectively the best name.
thats the joke... :forehead: making up a name for my pack with corporation, i know it isn't real but it would be funny :crylaugh:
Because this topic has become clogged up with unrelated posts:
Lemmkeev20, if you want (you do not have to; it's your choice), you are welcome to close this topic and create a new one to replace it. If you want to do this but cannot close it on your own, just reply asking us to do so and we'll do it for you. To avoid doubt, what you call the new topic is entirely up to you.

no... i think we're done here. this topic is getting unrelated and way more unfocussed... and i just dont even care at all... i don't wanna lock this topic but the issue was the name... so yeah i think we're done discussing about the name of this topic... :'(
in fact... i don't even know anymore... there is a bright side in all places but why are we focussing on the dark side... the name it the problem...
