Title: [✓][SUG][PL] Show skills used in most recent attempt
Post by: Simon on August 04, 2026, 08:02:06 PM
CE 1.1.2
NL 12.14

After playing one level, NL displays the postview screen. It tells you:

Lemmings saved in your recent attempt
Lemmings saved in your record
Time taken in your recent attempt
Time taken in your record
Skills used in your record

It should also tell you the number of skills assigned in your recent attempt.

Agreed, this should be shown.

Try this:

If you playtest a level in CE 1.1.2 from the Editor (using F12), it will show a clickable text 'Show Skills Used', which opens a dialog showing the exact skills used in the most recent playthrough. This is primarily a level creation tool, but could be carried over to gameplay as well.

Would you prefer the clickable text for normal gameplay, or is just the 'total skills used' count sufficient? Thinking about it, we could show the 'total skills used' count and make it clickable anyway.

Right, why not show it for normal play, too. NL rewards challenge solutions (solve with zero builders) and that gives sense to showing it.

I take it that you're going to show the total number of skills used directly on the end-of-level screen, and the number of builders used in the dialog. Sounds good!
