Title: Why did you disable "lock mouse cursor when rotating" by default?
Post by: mrpenguinb on July 10, 2026, 01:21:58 PM
It doesn't make sense from my standpoint. Loap becomes significantly more enjoyable with the right-click drag camera.
How are you meant to control the camera with the mouse without the lock option enabled?
I can't figure it out, unless you intended it to be keyboard only with the option disabled.

You can still move the camera with the mouse even if the cursor doesn't lock in place - it just means the cursor will move as you're panning/rotating. The reason it changed to disabled by default is that the mouse cursor locking was causing issues for some users - I'd rather have the more-compatible option as the default.
