Does anyone know where all the musics are from?
Here's the ones I know:
CANCANp - Heh, it's the Can Can
TENLEMSp - A baby song. Ten green bottles, or whatever.
MOUNTAIp - Another baby song. She'll be coming round the mountain.
TIMxp - Most seem to be classic musics or something. Well, some of them anyway.
DOGGYp - (Not in windows) Yet another baby song. We all know this one.
What does this have to do with Lemmings?
It's about the musics in the lemmings games.
Tim6P is "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies" by by Tchaikovsky from The Nutcracker, Op. 71a.
Tim7P is Rondo Ala Turca by Mozart.
Tim9P is London Bridge.
The other Tim*ps seem to be original compositions (sheer genius if you ask me).
Just random info on musics. TIM4P is my favourite. After all, I use it in my best level series - Oblivion.
Well, for me, I'm composing remixes of these songs. If you want to hear them, just email me: castlenine@hotmail.com (castlenine@hotmail.com)
Also, Steaver get some of them too. :D
DL's remixes are very cool! B)
What is TIM2P? It's been my favorite ever since I first played Lemmings- in demo form on an old Mac.
TIM8P is something from Swan Lake.
Another song not in windows version, which I call FORESTp, is some song called Forest Green. If you play DOS lemmings from the beginning, level 17 in Fun has it.
I refer to that one as TIM0p or TIMAp
Andi, you listened my songs?
You have sent me some.
I also made some of the songs of Oh no more Lemmings in .mid. I guess that I'm the first one! ;P
ha i love all the songs...X)
XD i've been playing lemmings since I was 5 so I've had the songs implanted into my mind
The first time I heared these songs, it was on my old Atari ST. But I never heared those of Oh no more Lemmings and Holiday Lemmings on it. Maybe I should find an emulator of Atari ST and record the songs to see the differences.
I don't know about the Atari ST version, but I've managed to find the music for the SNES version of Lemmings available for download as SPC files here (http://www.planetemu.net/musiques/index.php3?rep=Supernes) (search for Lemmings on that page); you'll need dedicated player software for these files, and I recommend Meridian Advance, (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/gbs.html) which can also play GBS (GameBoy), GYM (Megadrive/Genesis) and NSF (NES) files.
I love all the lemmings musics.
Yep! And it is why I sequence them in MIDI.
