Title: voice recording issues
Post by: mobius on September 25, 2017, 09:51:03 PM
What kind of set-up do you guys use?

So since I've started streaming and using voice chat, first I use a mic and my speakers but this causes echo. Even if it's subtle it can be a problem when lots of people are chatting. So I got an adapter to use my bluetooth headset which unfortunately also has a microphone which I don't know how to disable. I still got feedback. So now I'm going to try wired headphones. We'll see if I don't still get feedback now... :-\

Wired over-ear headphones, and a table mic.

I use a Logitech USB Headset H390 for all non-co-op Let's plays. It's very reasonably priced (~$25), the mic is good quality, and if you keep the game audio low for the headset (the recording software should not be affected by this) then there is no noticeable echo.

I use Logitech G430 and I have no idea if the mic sounds good or not. :D
