Title: [Suggestion] Skill panel framestep buttons
Post by: Proxima on March 06, 2017, 06:10:59 PM
I was sceptical about the new buttons, but I play mainly with the mouse, so after playing a recent version for a short time, I very quickly found the framestepping buttons to be helpful. Unfortunately, I discovered that you can't hold down the mouse to skip multiple frames -- you have to repeatedly click -- and the annoyance counteracts the helpfulness.

Something to consider changing?

Will see what can be done.

Another thing that would be nice: right-click on framestep buttons to skip back/forth 1 second.

That one will be very easy to implement. Though I'd like some input as to whether 1sec is the best value or if we should choose something else (5 or 10 sec perhaps, especially for the forward skip), or even make them completely configurable.

I have implemented the right-click for one second skips, and additionally middle-click for 5 second skips. I haven't yet implemented the click-and-hold behaviour; this will be a tiny bit trickier.

Finally got this implemented. :)
