Given Proxima's questions right now in IRC, I would like to make the following suggestions for the options under "Selection":
1) Remove "Align to grid used by DOS": This is no longer needed, especially given that we want to drop support for saving vanilla Lemmix levels.
2) Add "Move to Front": Takes all selected pieces, preserves their order within themselves, but places them in front of all non-selected pieces.
3) Add "Move to Back": Same as above, but moves all selected pieces behind all non-selected pieces.
If possible, it would be nice to get hotkeys for these new options.
PS: And if you add hotkeys for them, please remap F4 from "Steel in background" to "Trigger areas". Trigger areas are much more important!
Oh yes, this option would be great!
I had quite some situations where this could have saved me some time.

1. I'll remove it when Lemmix is no longer supported at all. At the moment, it's in a state of "the support is still there, but won't be fixed if it breaks". So once it breaks (or I decide it's best to just remove it) and the remainder of it gets taken out, I'll remove that option too.
2 / 3. Good ideas. I'll put these on the todo list.
Extra. This makes sense, since steel areas are rarely used anymore, and when that option does get used, it's generally changed once then left that way (unlike the visibility of piece types, which may be toggled many times during a single session).
Coming back to this one:
1 has been removed for the next update (finally).
2 & 3 are still on the todo list.
The PS has been implemented quite a while ago now.
2 & 3 are now implemented for next update.
