Title: problem with seamonkey
Post by: mobius on August 08, 2014, 09:34:21 PM
to anyone on here that has used seamonkey; have you ever experienced a problem where most websites fail to load? This started happening for me suddenly a while ago. Chatzilla could not connect to quakenet, Lemmingsforum (this site), Deviant Art and numerous other sites would just not load with the message; connection refused. But strangely; some sites like Google and Wikipedia work just fine. I tried reinstalling it but no effect.  ???

You may be the only one here (and with what you just posted, I suspect you've only given a huge reason for the rest of us to stay away from seamonkey like the plague ;P).  Does seamonkey have a forum or other form of support you can contact?  Start there maybe?  Also I'm assuming you are using a released version and not some beta version that are bound to be buggy(-er)?
