Now... not that I dont "like" the smilies you have here... but the first few always seem to confuse me since they are so similar... so I had a play.

These are a bit bigger.. 24x24 rather than 19x19. They could come down to 22x22 easily enough.

If smilies are going to be improved, at least let's arrange that they don't get activated by mistake when people enter just one capital letter or punctuation mark!
The smilies are top class Mike, thanks. And they are so small because I made them originally for the MSN-Messenger client. (Or was LUDB? Or both?)
Anyway, because of the mistakes, as I said dozens of times there's something wrong in the smiley-code which I can't fix because I have no idea of Perl. If you have problems with it, just make sure you have checked "Check this if you'll be adding code (or don't like smileys)." over the "Post"-Button.
