there is a list of lemmings levels. Whoever starts a new round selects the game and levels from the game. We can do official games or custom level packs.
To play, select one level to hurt by subtracting 2 and one level to heal by adding 1
All levels start with 10 points.
When a level reaches 0 it is eliminated. If a level has only 1 point remaining and you want to remove it you must give a -1 on that level and a -1 on another (and still a +1 on a third).
don't double post.

Kinda wonder if you should've started with a shorter list of levels, this round may last quite a while and we'd be stuck with the same levels all this time...
Can we split the -2 across two different levels? Usually it's allowed in Hurt & Heals if hurt is more than one point... (and especially since you say we should do that if there's only one point left)
I will:

Hi mobius
What about every lemmings tribe level, I know that might sound a bit crazy.
I guess this would work better if we're ambivalent towards most of the choices, otherwise it's like a poll. (Or is that the point and I just don't get this game

)
Suggestions:
- Tame levels
- A selection of the more useless L2 skills (hoppers, divers, spearers...)
- Obscure ports of Lemmings
I guess this would work better if we're ambivalent towards most of the choices
We could also vote on tomato, broccoli, eggplant, and leek, that is bound to produce fun results :]

I like Clam's idea of "useless L2 skills" for the next game. Also, the initial scores should probably be lower (like maybe 5 instead of 10) so this only drags on half as long? (Or perhaps we can double the hurt/heal values every now and then to speed things up.)
Another possible twist (though not exactly helping the game speed-wise) is that for people having gone multiple times in the same game, they must avoid re-choosing any of their previous choices for as long as possible.
Yet another random idea: people can guess the N-th eliminated level (they pick the N), and if they get that right they get some extra power to hurt/heal for one time. I guess we'd need to figure out how exactly to allocate the extra power based on how many people got it right, how early/late did they declare the guess compared to the time of elimination, etc. Perhaps we can look into additional such types of "side bets" one can make in exchange for bonus hurt/heal power.

[I know i once said I don't like that level but Idk why. that changed.] anyway, some of these I don't recognize. Where/what is Sixes Not and Don't leave any lemmings from? Also why is it called tricky 21
Also why is it called tricky 21
They are all the 21st levels in rating Tricky from various ports of original Lemmings. "All the 6s" of course is from the standard PC/Amiga/AtariST versions. "Ohayo..." is from Super Nintendo, "Going..." from Mac. I don't remember for sure the other two (I want to say "Sixes Not" is from Nintendo though, and probably Sega Genesis [aka Megadrive] for the other one?).

Makes sense, as I think you were the first to find the steel-digging backroute? But now that playing it in Lix prevents that, it is returned to its glory as one of the best puzzle levels. Therefore:

One of my favorite levels in the game is Level 9 from the shadow tribe, this level was called (Spinny Thang) which involved good use of using the twister to escape.
The magic carpet skill would probably be my least favorite because of being hard to control but that's what makes the game fun.
By the way there's been a lets play of lemmings two the tribes, been watching it myself.

Quite an innovative idea to choose skills instead of levels!

+1 this time goes to the Surfer, but only because of this
dramatic glitch. Otherwise yeah it seems pretty useless.
-1x2 this time goes to...(throws dice)...hang glider and parachuter. Nothing horribly wrong with hang glider, but by comparison the Icarus Wings seem slightly more versatile (IIRC it allows for change in left/right direction unlike hang glider, plus it is slower and not subjected to gravity IIRC). Parachuter Clam already explained.

Ballooner is cool and seems to be one of the more carefully thought-out and realistically-behaved wind skills in the game. Do you know for example that a spearer's spear (while still moving) can pop the balloon? It will also check for terrain between the lemming and the bottom of the balloon, and prevent the balloon from carrying the lemming up through any such intervening terrain (as if the lemming got snagged there by the terrain, exactly like in a real-world setup--granted, in actual playing sometimes this behavior can be an annoyance, as it may leave you no way to even pop the balloon to recover). Controlling the movement precisely is also not quite as fiddly as one might think at first--since the fan's force on the balloon is inversely related to its distance from the balloon (ie. weaker the farther away, naturally), there is a sweet spot where the downward force from the fan can exactly cancel out the upward buoyancy of the balloon resulting in it keeping perfectly stationary.
TL;DR--"Ballooner is cool."

Hence the +1.

I realize above may be just a joke, but do let me point out that under the current rules, triple elimination is impossible unless at least one of the 3 victims have a fractional score no greater than 2/3. Or unless we start allowing larger amounts of hurt/heal (eg. -3/+2 rather than -2/+1).
That said, now people have more choices on how to carry out the impending eliminations.

I must say, it is not quite as fun as I hoped, when it takes that much typing to eliminate stuff.
BTW, I propose that after we finally wear down the current round, for the next round we do the ultimate hurt&heal for this forum with the Lemmings games themselves being the victims. Like Lemmings vs ONML vs Lemmings 2 vs Revolution, or something like that.
We shall conduct both lists at the same time, since the first is getting a little dull.

I shall not include Lemmings titles that republish L1 levels for the n-th time (PSP, even though it has additional levels), and games must use the Lemmings franchise. Missing games shall be added by other people, who may, as a bonus, instantly select 3 different games from the list and deduct 1 point each.

I want to try this!
ONML gets a point because of its challenging levels and no repeats (though Wild 1 and Wicked 6 are similar in layout).
If the Playstation is the PS3 version, I'll take away two points because there aren't enough levels, and there aren't enough Lemmings styles (though the remix of the Lemmings music in the main menu is very nice). If it's the PS1 version, well, I've never played it, but I heard that the Special Levels aren't there, so it still loses the two points.

Follow The Leader...: 1 (-2) Maybe if the pathfinder Lemming had to do something interesting instead of walk for a mile then build a giant staircase...

I think we all came to an agreement with the follow the leader level as a least favorite as that was one you had to wait a bit for the lemmings to finish walking.

That doesn't come into consideration for me, as I grew up with the Mac version, which has fast-forward. Still, I feel "Follow the leader" is not an especially inspired level compared to others on the list; it's the same old "hold the crowd, leader does all the work, release" that you've had to do several times in a row at the start of Taxing. Making the holding pit with bombers is a slight difference but not enough of one.

I just don't find Tightrope City very interesting.
