I've been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the Nintendo 3DS, of late, and I've been adding some Lemmings-themed stuff to my house and my town. I just figured that I'd post some screenshots.

Firstly, here's the Lemmings-themed room in my house;

Most of the furniture is actually
the ghastly polka-dot set, customised with silver ore and a lemming sprite, though there are a few exceptions (such as the director's chair and the computer). The flooring is the "dig-site floor", though I haven't come across the matching wallpaper yet, so the "dirt-clod wall" is acting as a stand-in for the time being. I thought that the miniature icthyosaur skeleton (next to the reel-to-reel) was a good touch, since some levels in the original Lemmings have dinosaur bones on show.

Outside, I currently have these built;

There's a custom-design sign, that has the same image on it as my furniture, and there's also a face cut-out standee that has a Blocker painted on it. As you can see, my character is also wearing the lemming sprite design as a shirt, as well.

Anyway, I don't really expect much commentary on this, since there's not a lot that can really be said about it! I just wanted to share it.
It's a shame that I can't see these pictures, because they probably would look cool. Why are they not appearing?
I'm afraid I've no clue. They're hosted on Imgur, the same as I always use, and I can see them ok. I'm on a different machine to the one I posted from originally, at the moment, so that should rule out caches and whatnot holding onto images that aren't currently present.
I really don't know what to suggest, there (are you behind a proxy or suchlike that could be blocking them?). Do these direct links help?

Hi Prob lem, Minimac
That's weird they are working fine with myself, I'm puzzled with that one myself too
I like the lemmings hairstyle when they are walking in a certain way they look different each time. I've never played that game before Animal Crossing New leaf before is it any good.
Thanks for sharing

I must say that I love it. It's ludicrously addictive!
It's also not necessarily to everyone's tastes, though. It's a very relaxed and relaxing game - you live in a (randomly-generated) town full of talking animals, and you need to make in-game money by gathering and selling natural resources (fruit, fish, insects, fossils), to buy items and decorate (and pay for) your house. You can also donate fish, insects, and fossils to the local museum in the game. This installment (New Leaf is the fourth Animal Crossing game), also makes you the mayor of the town, so now you need to raise funds to build new things in the town (my lemming sign and standee are examples of that), as well.
It's absolutely impossible to describe, unfortunately, because "A sandbox game where you live in a village, and do chores to make money to pay your mortgage" sounds really boring, even though the game is exactly the opposite!

No problem!
