Title: New Zealand Phishing Species
Post by: Clam on May 29, 2013, 08:42:12 AM
New Zealand Phishing Species

This is part of a cybersecurity awareness campaign that's going on in New Zealand right now. Which would be extremely dull (albeit informative) except for one thing:

One of the characters is a disturbing likeness of me! (He's in the top left corner.)

This is based on the poster of commercial fish species which is a common sight in fish & chip shops.

Well, it's certainly a funny poster (and an apparent coincidence with your username too!) :D I'm sure that it will be a great poster for educating kids about the dangers of the online world. Thanks for showing it to us!

I'm just wondering, was that one of the reasons why you chose this username?

Because I fill peoples' inboxes with ads? Nah, surely not :P

A long while ago I made a (largely failed) attempt at explaining my username.

Congratulations on your new-found fame!

I know it's a coincidence and all, but it's amusing nonetheless. All they needed to do was depict the clam gobbling up a rodent, and it would have obviously been a tribute! ;)
