The rules are the same as 5 word story, but with one twist:
Instead of trying to be random, you have to try to make sense and keep it serious. As in basically, trying to write a completely normal story, except for the "five words per person". I'll start:
Melissa woke up from her...
herself in the mirror, and
sighed. "Another day of life."
[NOTE: I edited this only to change the comma to a full stop, as otherwise the next post doesn't flow on very well from it.]
She had become a beautiful
young girl over the last
to a lot of effort
and ate five grapes every
eat anything else and was
climb the Empire State Building.
The last few posts are clearly either not serious, or while serious in themself have been in response to posts that are not. Therefore, unfortunately they must be dropped. That kind of material is more suited for the other 5 word story topic.
Melissa woke up from her bad dream. She looked at herself in the mirror, and sighed. "Another day of life."
She had become a beautiful young girl over the last couple of weeks. She went to a lot of effort...
Remember: The idea is to write something completely serious, and the only unusual thing about it is the five words at a time per writer. If you want to be crazy, that's what the other Five Word Story is there for.
It's kind of hard to do it with the five word limit.
What, we just said she had the urge to climb the Empire State Building! lol
The posts in this thread have been brought to my attention.
Unfortunately, there isn't a clear line between serious and light-hearted, so I'm going to say this... if your continuation of the story doesn't sound realistic, it probably isn't serious.
Adam pretty much said it.
to take Yoga classes every

the amount of stress in
her daily life. She felt
happy at these classes and
yet, sometimes she wondered if
there was another way to
improve her life. Little did
she know that the people
she saw there would soon
become her best friends and
people she meant were not
like others she previously knew.
She may never know whether
this was a good thing
or a bad thing. This
was the one thing she
absolutely hated. She sighed and
looked into the sky. "Why
am I looking into the
sky? Am I looking for
something? Hmmm... I'll just sit
down and think about everything
while I stare at clouds."
Then she got bored and
saw a cloud shaped like
