Mr. K showed me this one, I seem to recall him saying he made it. You can ask him about that one.
Xp Lemmings
That looks so ugly!

Pick something less disgusting and more funny please.
What's so disgusting about it?
What's so disgusting about it?
I knew you would say that.

Um... The music is kind of repetitive and the pixelated graphics are extremely low in resolution, although actually the huge pixels are made of blocks. That's the only thng I like about it really.
Blame the creator, not me. I think the point was to be silly, actually.
The point was supposed to be XP LEMMINGS! Look at screenshots of Windows XP if you can't figure out the blocks.
This one has nothing to do with Lemmings, but is hilarious. Ask me about if you don't understand it.
They're both awesome

I don't get the second one, but it's still hilarious
If you'd like to know, it was created using one of the text to speech voices on the Mac (these were in there around Mac OS Classic, and still are as of at least OS X 10.4 Tiger, quite probably in Leopard and upcoming Snow Leopard).
'My Macintosh sprinkler goes . . . '
Mr. K told me about it when I was playing around with the text to speech and Mr. K said that I had basically accidentally discovered how they did it.
I figured it was a text-to-speech thing. The rest of it makes no sense though - but then, maybe that's the point
Imagine a sprinkler... tst tst tst tst...
Then he's like lololololol.
The second picture is a lot better than the first.

I'm impressed by all the sprinkles of text flying towards you! I suppose the man is bothered about the text as well as the rain.

Can I have that on my wallpaper please?
Somehow, probably yes.
Something that was mentioned on the old forum that I think deserves another mention:
Dancing Lemmings
I love it!

Great music to go with it as well.
Here's a site created by a Lemmings fan made years ago, the music only works on Internet Explorer (Sorry guys, since you all use Firefox you won't be impressed, Safari I don't know.)

I doubt that'll pass a test. It's [most likely] due to active x controls, however they can cause a lot of harm... included helping to make the web a Microsoft technology.
That's bad, because it discourages using other web browsers... discouraging the use of non-Windows platforms... meaning that Macs and PC's with Linux can't browse the web completely properly... or can they? Most other browsers will give you the standards compliant result... which doesn't always look right due to non-standards compliant web design.
Not quite sure where to put this, but if you ignore the word "audio" in the thread title then this fits here I guess.
If you don't mind the colourful language (which apparently we don't on this forum) then this is hilarious.
EDIT: I should make this a little clearer. This comes with a
serious language warning. Call it "R18" or whatever...
My Month With Christmas Lemmings

Well I do (And probably Dullstar does as well). Good point mentioning that, and because of that I didn't laugh at all, I cringed.
Hmm...
It won't be everyone's cup of tea of course. I probably should make the language warning a bit more explicit.
I do generally mind it, but if you're really angry, I can tell where you're going with that.
Probably won't watch until I'm older..
Could you lighten up the language so the rest of us could watch it?
Oh, it's not a video - hence my doubts over where I should post it. And there's not a whole lot I can do about the language, considering I didn't write it.
Found a neat bloopers video on Youtube:
Lemmings: A Sadistic Look Back EDIT: no longer available, see post below
This is actually the finale to a series called
Lemmings Talkthrough, which (if you can tolerate a little juvenile humour) is worth a watch in itself.
Unfortunately, the videos I mentioned in the above post are gone since Google shut down the guy's account. However:
- He says he's going to redo all his old series under a new account
- He mentioned an ONML series in the pipeline at one point
- There is a posibility (not sure how great) that he could get his account back.
(EDIT: Backup account's gone too. I'll continue to keep an eye on this...)
Great news!
roundthewheel - the same guy I mentioned earlier - is back with
a new Lemmings video series!
This first video is just an introduction with some historical background. The "talkthrough" (that's what he calls it) starts tomorrow.
