Hello there,

If I send a PM to someone, can I somewhere find this?

Thx

Yes. You can find it , if you open the "messages" tab , and then
the "sent items" tab , inside it.

But also , when you write your message , make also sure , that you have the "save a copy in my outbox" option enabled.

Go to Profile
-> Account Settings
-> Modify Profile
-> Personal Messaging,
check this option: Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default.

This will check every time for you the box (on the message-composing form) (to save the message that is about to be sent) (that Turrican correctly instructs you to check).

It's agonizing that either of these two boxes even exist, and it's utmost stupidity to have the boxes start off for everybody. The forum should store the sent message, period. Forum stores message anyway for the recipient; forum certainly should store message for the sender then. It's nonsense to even ask, with either box. You want a log of the conversation, not of half of the conversation.

namida: This would be worthy of a forum hack or an upstream feature UX bug report: Remove the two boxes (one each in the two different forms) and always store sent message for the sender. I'm up for discussion.
