Hello
« on: December 07, 2010, 02:16:44 PM »
Hello, Some of you may know me from previous Lemmings forums.  I just found this forum and decided to join.

If you have seen Lemmings videos on Youtube, I just made a run of Sega Megadrive version of Lemmings 2(savestates used between some levels). Im working on Gameboy version of same game.(More Lemmings games on my Youtube channel)

Ok, anyway. I have some questions too.

1. Is there level editors for Lemmings 2 and 3?

2. Anyone got Acorn and FM Marty versions (or any other unknown stuff) about Lemmings 2?

3.Someone has figured out how save all Lemmings at classic 5, Sports 1 and Polar 8(Im talking about Lemmings 2)

I will be asking some more later..

Hey,

Welcome along to the forums!

Not sure how much I can help, but I'll have a look around for some answers to your questions.

Adam :)

If I recall correctly, there's a Lemmings 2 editor about halfway done, right?  Lemmings 3, not so much.

I know at least some people here either have, or at least have experienced the Acorn version of Lemmings 2, so I dunno if it's "unknown".  It's not like it was unreleased.  On the other hand, I didn't know they did a version for FM Towns Marty-- was that unreleased? (Kinda like the Master System version of Lemmings 2, which I'm looking out for)

Dunno about the last quesiton.

For Lemmings 2, there's been GuyPerfect's lgl2, which however has only been released in private: http://www.lemmingsforums.com/index.php?topic=176.0
Then there's my my (provisional and crappy) editor PCL2ED, however the release thread has been on the old forums, but the editor itself is still there, of course: http://geoo.digibase.ca/PCL2ED/

For Lemmings 3, Mindless released Lem3Edit (also on the previous forums), which is hosted here: http://code.google.com/p/lemmings-tools/source/browse/lem3edit/

In Lemmings 2, ccexplore found an exploit that made Sports 1 100%-able: http://www.lemmingsforums.com/index.php?topic=12.msg8706#msg8706

Hey, welcome back! I remember you, and your custom levels :D

As for your questions, there's not much left to answer, but...

1. Is there level editors for Lemmings 2 and 3?

As far as I'm aware, I'm the only one who has actually used Lem3Edit to make new levels for that game (see my sig for the levels ;)). It would be great to see some more custom levels for this game...

2. Anyone got Acorn and FM Marty versions (or any other unknown stuff) about Lemmings 2?

In this thread, weirdybeardy claims to own an Acorn with Lemmings and (I think) Lemmings 2 as well. He hasn't been active in the past couple of months, but it might be possible to get hold of him.

EDIT: I found a 100% solution to Classic 5 on Youtube, but it uses a trick that doesn't work in DOS/Amiga Lemmings 2.

Interesting, Im going to check that out.

That was also used on my Megadrive longplay. Thanks anyway
