@eric Intended solution
You were just slightly less efficient in regards to the amount of time taken, but it's fine. The tricks are all there in the solution, and it's pretty much the only solution thanks to the pickups
Although you had a little more trouble with my Rule 2 level, which I also thought was the easiest of my contest levels.
As I said in reply to your Youtube comment, you underestimate the difficulty of your R2 when it comes to others solving it. It is understandable, since it's difficult for authors to judge how hard his/her own levels are when others are solving them. While I am in agreement that your R2 is likely the easiest of all your levels in this contest relative to one another, it doesn't necessarily mean that your R2 itself is easy. Only "easiest" comparatively speaking to your other contest levels. There are things that do make it more difficult than usual: Wide level, somewhat a wide array of possibilities to try, number of objects you need to interact with, etc.
I liked the colorfulness of the level and the tune was better than the ohno one in your Rule 1. I think the tune matched the level quite good.
Thanks for the compliment on the design!
I admit that my R2 is quite a sloppy design and it was frustrating getting the placements correct so that the solution works out, but I think it's because I'm more annoyed with wanting to enlarge the level size and shift the positions of everything in the level. Guess I just need to fiddle around in the editor more in this regard
Then again, I did put the level together in the final days before the playing phase began, so I can only blame myself for that, because my sloppiness in the design certainly shows. I was never an artist, though, and I'm still not. I cannot draw anything for goodness sakes
