I noticed you put my level 'Heroes to the Rescue' in rank 2. I think it's more a rank 4 level. (And certainly more difficult than my other two levels in rank 2 now.) Of course, it can be very personal what is being perceived as difficult, so I understand it's hard to determine what goes where.
At this point I would like to hear more voices on this.
From my point of view I really don't see the solution as that difficult. I can at max see this late rank 2 or early rank 3, but definitly not rank 4.
Reasoning:
- No fiddly assignments.
- No complex tricks which need deep expert knowledge about how skills work in detail.
- Low skill count and level size.
- Dig with the last lemmings to get workers ahead trick is regularly used and is clearly needed here.
- RR is already at 99 and no need to focus on possible changes there.
- Builder placement is quite locked. --> Crowd path is rather clear which narrows down blocker+stacker placement.
- There is really just 1 wall to climb and the combination with a glider to get back on top to save a possible blocker seems like a logical chain to me.
Hi all!
We're here to offer up some levels to the Community Lemmings pack, featuring levels from our LemRunner pack.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3ebeew0ffnkb6u1/LemRunnerCommunity.zip?dl=1
Included are all of the following levels (and their corresponding replays), made by myself and my brother, tan x dx:
Excavation
Riddle of the Ancients
Measure once, build twice
Like Clockwork
Authorised Lemmings Only
Any Way the Wind Blows
A caelo usque ad centrum
Full Circle
Lem Ninja
Revenge of the Dead
Storage Facility 22A
Pixel Imperfect
All of these levels use the LemRunner style packs, which can be found at https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?topic=5535.0
(Make sure you have the most up to date version!)
All levels here are the same as they were in the LemRunner pack, with the exception of Riddle of the Ancients, Lem Ninja, and Pixel Imperfect. (These levels have been modified to remove their postview text, which would be out of context in the community pack; the actual solutions are unchanged).
Also included in the zip file are the ambient music tracks featured in LemRunner. However, I do not know whether or not the ambient background tracks would feel too out-of-place in the community pack - feel free to substitute in any musical tracks which you feel would work better. There's 10 tracks in total, however half could easily be removed since they're essentially variations of each other.
