Nuts, I missed the double-elimination due to busy days at work.  Then again I'm not sure if I would've done it, as I'm more indifferent to This Corrosion compared to apparently many people here. :-\

Makes sense, as I think you were the first to find the steel-digging backroute? But now that playing it in Lix prevents that, it is returned to its glory as one of the best puzzle levels. Therefore:

My exposure to Lemmings 2 is limited to a couple of visits to friends when I was a kid, but I do remember how obnoxiously difficult it was to control the Twister, so....

For reference, the Lemmings Encyclopedia has a brief description of each Lemmings 2 skill here.  Granted, it won't tell you anything about maneuverability and the like......

+1 to twister only because it reminds me of Clam's neat custom Lemmings 2 level featuring 1 single twister for the entire level.
As for hurts, hmm...so many choices, I think I'll spread it out this time.

One of my favorite levels in the game is Level 9 from the shadow tribe, this level was called (Spinny Thang) which involved good use of using the twister to escape.

The magic carpet skill would probably be my least favorite because of being hard to control but that's what makes the game fun.

By the way there's been a lets play of lemmings two the tribes, been watching it myself.  :thumbsup:

I haven't played much L2, but I remember how hard it was controlling the carpet. ><img src=" title="Angry" class="smiley" /> That circus level was so annoying.

+1 this time goes to the Surfer, but only because of this dramatic glitch.  Otherwise yeah it seems pretty useless.

-1x2 this time goes to...(throws dice)...hang glider and parachuter.  Nothing horribly wrong with hang glider, but by comparison the Icarus Wings seem slightly more versatile (IIRC it allows for change in left/right direction unlike hang glider, plus it is slower and not subjected to gravity IIRC).  Parachuter Clam already explained.

Funny how skills generate discussion now, when the levels didn't :D. Do we need a Skills Review topic to go with the level reviews?
