Title: WinLems
Post by: DragonsLover on March 28, 2007, 06:18:57 AM
Here's a clone of Lemmings95 I found:

WinLems (http://www.wildfiredesign.net/software/winlems/index.html)

What do you think?

Requires MSVBVM60.DLL and the latest version of COMCTL32.OCX.

Wow, that's impressive.  I'm surprised we haven't seen it before.

Yup! I played it and there are some things wrong: some level titles don't fit with the levels; when a level is failed, a new music is played when restarting the level; bomber's countdown goes faster; floaters fall slower than normally; builders react a little bit strangely...

This isn't a perfect clone.

Again though, impressive. The level editor's good(look in its folder. For me it's C:/Program Files/Wildfire Software/Winlems). Somewhat like Custlemm. I approve.

Well, I'd say it's not a bad one and neither is Lemini. But for me, the best of all clones is Lemmix. It's the only one where I get that special "nostalgic" feeling and which looks almost identical to the real original.
