Play custom levels!

Download a level pack, e.g.:
  • Lemmings Reunion by IchoTolot has the classic 8 skills, starts easy, then becomes challenging. Runs in NeoLemmix, a custom Lemmings engine.
  • Lemmings Omega by namida has the new NeoLemmix tilesets, extra skills, teleporters, unlockable exits, zombies, ...
  • Lix community pack is bundled with Lix, a free Lemmings-like single- and multiplayer game.
Our level pack board offers many exciting levels!

NeoLemmix has the most packs right now. Lix is the second-most popular engine. SuperLemmini and Lemmini haven't seen many packs recently. Some old user levels require the exact DOS Lemmings mechanics, they need vanilla Lemmix or DOS Lemmings in DOSBox.

Create levels!

For NeoLemmix:
  • Download the NeoLemmix level editor.
  • Run the editor, select "File" -> "New level".
  • Right-click into the empty space, select "Insert Terrain" or "Insert Object".
  • Choose skills and other settings in the dialogs under "View".
  • Select "Tools" -> "Play this level".
For Lix:
  • Download Lix, it contains a level editor.
  • Run Lix, go to Single Player, and select "New Level" near the bottom right.
  • Click the tree button to insert terrain in the empty level.
  • Add hatches, exits, and visit the "Skills" and "Constants" dialogs.
  • Save, exit the editor, and play the level from the singleplayer browser.
Share your cool levels on the forum!

Made sticky topic very similar to my previous post.

Reunion suffers from fake terrain: Trees and lampposts in shadow set are hollow, canes in Egyptian are hollow. I've let Reunion stand as #1 nonetheless, the pack looks so good. Maybe prod me once alternatives are ready?

Rant time in IRC today because of the fake terrain. We discussed several solutions over half a year ago, yet nothing has changed in NL. The trees don't move, exit tops are still separate from exits, etc.

<namida42> [trees could vanish in hide-bg] by setting them as Moving Background objects though. (with the somewhat weird, but not really problematic as such, side effect that someone could create a level with a tree that actually moves)
<SimonN> Exit tops pose problems? Let's invent weird flags for everything else, but oh my fucking god don't touch exit tops?

<Simon> the trees are obviously problematic, I remember at least Nepster, Proxima, and me complaining
<Nepster> Do you know why for certain objects the tooltip in my new editor reads "DO NOT USE"? :P

If Reunion isn't considered too hard, couldn't NepsterLems be recommended? It isn't too much harder.
